Crabs25 replied to Flighter1365's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumI see, Does everyone's AS2012 take as long as mine to load textures? It's regularly 5-6 minutes.

asn textures
Crabs25 replied to Flighter1365's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumSo have I been doing this right? I have to start AS2012- wait for the weather to load, then install wx influenced textures, close AS2102, start ASN, wait for that to load then start FSX? Seems a bit clumsy...

EHAM ILS 18C APP
Hello. Assuming you're at 180kts, a normal speed for the procedure, a descent rate of 1500fpm should be fine. 180kts is 3 miles per minute, it's 8.4 nm from the VOR to the locator, so 2:48 mins at -1500fpm is about 4300' and you only have to loose 4000 so you should be fine.

HorizonVFR
Hello All, I recently bought Horizon's VFR Gen X scenery, Vol 3, Northern England off eBay second hand. I paid a moderate price and the goods are clearly original. My purpose of buying was to test one before deciding to buy the lot and I chose Northern England as it's where I live and also where I've flown in real world. With my purchase came the key code but Horizon refuse to acknowledge this as clearly it has been used by the original owner who has now moved on.Despite me emailing them and offering to prove the product, the purchase etc etc they refuse to offerthe support and updates. The issue I have is the product is crap. There is no nightlighting as this, according to the product, will be offered free later on, and most of the lake district us under water. ( not in the sense of there's lots of lakes you understand!!) Due to this I'm clearly not going to buy the rest of the products as they don't appear very good, but does anyone have any ideas as to how I can sort the problems with my current product? Many thanks, best wishes.

IAS Hold by pitch
Thanks for your replies. I did used to have the VC10 for FS9 but have now gone over to FSX and no longer have that. I'm ok with editing things but need a bit of a talk through. Is there a way I can get an IAS hold through pitch adjustment?

IAS Hold by pitch
Hello all,I have an aircraft which should have a 1960 autopilot fitted, and when IAS hold is selected, it will do this by adjusting pitch. It has actually got an autothrottle hidden in there. Does anyone know how I can alter the config file to make it hold IAS via pitch rather than it adjusting the throttles in an autothorttle style? The aircraft in question did not have an autothrottle fitted. Thanks in advance,
