I guess this post is 4 years old but can you by any chance still help me? I have the same issue, my dad bought this payware long time ago and never used it. I've become an avid simmer now and tried to fly this from dads collection of payware but i have the same issue as you. I tried to check the carenado website for updates of this issue and there was none for piper arrow IV. Can you send the model update so i can fix this issue for me as well?

Maybe it's just me. I haven't set any controller yet, its the default settings for the keyboard but after takeoff, the ailerons refuse to work. I will try following the procedure from cold and dark and see how it goes.

Can you share the fix for problem 2? I'm having the same problem and somehow wilco refuses to recognize it as a problem and yet I've seen a lot of post of different people asking for the solution for this problem.
