  1. Like the guy that opened this thread I have a long flight sim history dating back to the first release. Still trying to understand what that really meant but felt the need to state it. Flight is nicely done program and possibly a start for improved desktop flight simulation. Waiting to see how quickly Microsoft releases scenery for the rest of the world, how the add on market shapes up and what issues with performance and reliability are discovered. I am skeptical that it will meet the needs of those flying for virtual airlines, with complex add on aircraft and connections to virtual ATC. I am optimistic that it will evolve into a decent flying simulation capable of challenging those wanting rewards or points for performing well in a gaming environment. Until that happens my Flight Sim 2004 and FSX have served well for several years each and will continue to do so. Also X-Plane is looking better with the passing of time and today would be a good day for resuming flights with it.
