Hi downscc, I did check the navdata files and compared the entries of two airports in the airport.dat file (airac 1308 and 1407 and the airports KLAX and ESNU). The KLAX airport enters without a hitch and it displys its coordinates and that it is an airport. the ESNU is not found (the fmc does nothing when i click enter several times). The airports are both listed in airport.dat. Chintzo, I will try to reinstall the airac but the installed and the 1308 airac both had the airports in the same fashion. //M

Hi! I tried both as initialization and as direct-to but it could not be found in any of them. I have the 737NGX installed and that works fine with the AIRAC. Departure page worked strangely enough, and init worked using the local VOR but not the airport designator ESNU

I have a issue with the J41 fmc. When I am initializing and choosing waypoints some are found in the database and some are not. Does anyone know how this can be and where I can look to debug this. I have airac 1407 I tried a couple: It can find: KLAX, EDFH, It cannot find: ESSA, EFVA, EFHK, ESNU. Has anyone come across this before?

Hi! I reinstalled the AIRAC but no success, when i open the PMDG/Navdata/airports.dat i find my airports essa/esnu with coordinates. I Imaging that is the folder that the J41 uses for navdata. A note is that I also run the PMDG 737NGX and there the AIRAC loads fine.

I have got two problems (which I do not think are related) 1. When i get the FMC Popup it looks strange and I cannot interact with it (check the picture attached) 2. When I try to enter valid airports such as essa or esnu, nothing happen when i press enter to retrieve its coordinates, any suggestions on solutions? (I also tried KLAX and that worked). I found out why it wouldn't start...start locks ( http://forums1.avsim.net/topic/259702-engine-start/page__p__1631589#entry1631589 ), hope it will help someone else too :(

In addition, is there bugs in the J41 at start? I seem to try everything to try to start it and it just spools in a high pitch, I never get the satisfactory engine sound no matter what configurations i use. (I got the left engine to start just fine, but the right one just do not want to)

Hi!If for any reason the engine doesn't start (i haven't figured out why is sometimes doesn't start) with the automatic option and the engine get too hot to try again in perhaps 10-15 minutes, what are the options? In the manual it suggested that you could do a manual start but never how it was done. Is it simulated and in that case how do i do? Best wishesMats

Hi!I have two problems i cannot seem to solve. The first is that when i land with the PMDG J4100 and switch the condition levers to taxi, when i then apply the slightest thrust the engines burst into flames..what am I doing wrong?the second thing is that i cannot seem to be able to use the saitek yokes with the conditions levers, when i push the propeller stick(set to condition levers) to MAX it is still one percent short of announcing "flight mode", any solutions to that?
