  1. Apologies for the delay in getting back to this topic, work beckoned so no fly time. However I have now had the chance to revisit and get back flying. Just a couple of notes, I never save my flights and always started with a fresh flight. I always completed my FMC entries as per Jens list/order above. I never engaged the autopilot, LNAV or VNAV, until over 1,000ft and established in the climb and tracking on the planned route. What I have done is as suggested and gone back to one of the default panel states and started from scratch again. Low and behold, VRef speeds are now back and VNAV engaging as it should. As I previously said, I have been entering data into the FMC the same way since day 1, and after going back to a default panel state, entered the data as I always had. Anyway, having everything back to how it should be is extreemly pleasing and I would like to just thank you all for your help and suggestions, very much appreciated. This sort of help is what makes this a great forum. Cheers Phil Duck
  2. Hi Kyle, Yes I am executing the numbers on the Perf Init page. I am using the FMC exactly like I have been since I purchased it. The other strange thing is that VNAV is now inoperable. I realise in the 777 different and that you don't have to do it. I know it will most likely be finger trouble but for the life of me I cant figure it out. Cheers Phil
  3. Guys, I know it is most likely to be finger trouble, but when I program the FMC the V Speeds are not transfering to the PFD. Also in the auto pilot VNAV has stopped functioning. I am programing the FMC the same way I have always done over the last few years and have never had these two problems before. I am able to set the V Speeds manually, but the VNAV is still inoperable. Like I said, it is strange that these two functions have all of a sudden stopped working. All of the 737 models are effected. Don't know if it is worth mentioning, but the 777 is working just fine. Any ideas or help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Phil Duck
  4. Hi Dan, many thanks for your help. Re-downloaded the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle and the problem has gone, back into flying the NGX again. Once again, many thanks for your help and quick response. Cheers Phil Duck
  5. Hope you can help, when I go to load a flight with the NGX, at any airport, and I get a warning pop up that states NAV HASH INIT: INVALID LATITUDE. It has a cancel button in the warning box, but it just freezes up and doesn't allow me to proceed any further. I am running windows 7, FSX, and Active Sky next. I have the latest FSUIPC version, my navigraph is up to date, and it is only with the NGX, it has got me stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Phil Duck
  6. Many thanks for your help Milviz, I have emailed Roadburner. Regards Phil
  7. Hi Milviz, I have tried to register in your forums but I do not see a register link anywhere, have also sent off an email requesting access, but to date have had no reply. I am sure it will be a simple fix and just want to enjoy the product. Regards Phil
  8. I have purchased the MILVIZ 407 Add On Pack 1. I merged the folders into the 407 folder in the rotorcraft folder but none of the new add ons appear, no searchlights, floats etc... Can any body help out with the correct install instructions. I have tried re-downloading the add on and am running the latest 407 version, SP3. Thanks in advance. Regards Phil
  9. Hi Trevor, many thanks for that. I do have FSUIPC. Is there an easy step by step way to do it in FSUIPC around ? I am not too bad with programs, but am the typical Kiwi bloke who needs some simple guidance  And a picture is worth a thousand words....
  10. Hi Guys, don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I use a HOTAS Warthog joystick/throttle combination along with a set of Saitek rudder pedals for my flying. I managed to find a FSX profile config that I use which is awesome as it has thrust reverse etc.... but I do not know how I can set the switch's on the throttle to match up with FSX functions, like fuel on, start, A/P, APU etc... Does anyone know where I can fin a good FSX config or real easy step by step instructions on how to set up. The other prob I am having is how to get the view panning to work on the switch under the trim top hat on the joystick. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Cheers Phil
