Nav Warning Freeze Up

Featured Replies

Hope you can help, when I go to load a flight with the NGX, at any airport, and I get a warning pop up that states NAV HASH INIT: INVALID LATITUDE.

It has a cancel button in the warning box, but it just freezes up and doesn't allow me to proceed any further.

I am running windows 7, FSX, and Active Sky next.

I have the latest FSUIPC version, my navigraph is up to date, and it is only with the NGX, it has got me stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

NAV HASH INIT: INVALID LATITUDE.

Navigraph had a problem with a PMDG download on the first day it was out.  Last time I checked, it was fixed so try another update with your Navigraph FMS Data Manager.

The error is announcing that at least one of the navdata files is corrupt. It actually doesn't freeze, it just doesn't let you close the error message until it has announced the problem for every bad line in the file, which could be many thousands. You can close the sim with the Task Manager if this happens again.

Hi Dan,

many thanks for your help.

Re-downloaded the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle and the problem has gone, back into flying the NGX again.

Once again, many thanks for your help and quick response.

Cheers

I got the same problem. Updating mine now.
