  1. Hello!I'm having some really disturbing problems with FSX, and I can't find any other way around it than reinstalling it from the very beginning (perhaps Windows as well). I've heard somewhere that someone has made a guide for installation of FSX (Windows 7) including all settings in the "weird part of Windows" and so on. Where can I find this?Regards!/Wasso
  2. Okay, I'll try that. Thanks!
  3. Hello!I've got a rather big issue with FSX. Just a couple of days ago my FSX started getting fatal errors after less then an hour of flying. I checked the problem reports and it seems to be different faulty modules all the time... Here are the last ten ones:MSVCR90.dllterrain.dllStackHash_fb8bFSCOPI~1.OCXterrain.dllFSCOPI~1.OCXterrain.dllft733.dll_unloadedFSInn.ocxterrain.dllterrain.dll and FSCOPI~1.OCX seems to be the biggest troublemakers. Does anyone have a clue of what this might be?
  4. Okay, then i'll go with the 650! Whats best? 4 gigs of CL7 1600 RAM, or 8 gigs of CL9 1600?
  5. OK, what about this: Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE BLUE And do i really need 700W PSU? Can i go with the Corsair CX 600W V2 80+ or the Corsair TX 650W V2 80+ Bronze instead?
  6. Ok, so 2 packs of the RAM above (Corsair 4GB (2x2048MB) CL9 1600Mhz XMS3 1,5V) will do it? EDIT: Or rather the pack with 8 gigs directly, so i save some money :P
  7. OK, is 4 gigs of 1600 is better than 6 gigs of 1333? This is what i've got now:
  8. @clum Didn't see your post... So the OCZ and CL9 memory will work fine? I've upgraded to the 560Ti EDIT: But i'll still need 1600Mhz RAM? 1333 isn't enough?
  9. Okay. The corsair is almost 40$ more expensive than the OCZ, and that's a little bit too much right now. Is there any other alternative?
  10. Okay, update: Corsair 4GB (2x2048MB) CL7 1600Mhz XMS3OCZ ModXStream PRO 700W Better? :)
  11. Hello! I'm sorry that i started a new topic about the same thing, but i want to keep everything about this rig in one thread. So this is the rig i've planned to get: How will this system run FS9/FSX? Will i be able to take the PMDG 747 over the atlantic with good FPS (30+) at the end in FS9 versus FSX? I appreciate feedback of things i can change. Although, the price can't go a lot higher than this! Regards!/Wasso :)
  12. Okay, so i don't need any fancy water cooling to get the 2500k above 4Ghz with the 212? And then i assume i will be able to run the ngx smooth in vc? :)
  13. Okay, So 3,7 is enough for FSX? Will i be able to run the NGX at good frames with this setup?
  14. OK, added 2 extra 120 mil fans (= PnP on the 212+ and two fans in the case) EDIT: Changed the fans to a little bit more expensive model with blue LED and the Arctic Silver Thermal Paste for better performance, but that's it! :)
  15. Okay, Great news!! And i assume that i will have acceptable FPS at the end aswell. Or is that too much to ask? :P
  16. Nice, so this system will handle the PMDG 747 over the atlantic?
  17. Roger that, So an i5 + a GTX460 or better will do it?
  18. Right now it's too expensive... But i heard that the i5 works fine (if you overclock it)
