  1. Fair enough, I will then wait for the Button-controlled version. Again, thank you for your prompt reply.
  2. Thank you Bryan, Liveries are present, except I cannot seem to add any to default ones. What I meant with airline names is that I no longer have the choice of ATC call-outs for airlines except the FS default ones. At this stage, there is no real point to download the 1.1 version since, owning a non-English OS, the voice controlled version won't work.
  3. Good afternoon to you all! To carry on about this topic, I too am in such a case, the voice controlled version of FS2Crew unusable on my system. I am a bit upset because there should be some sort of warning at one point, stating that on most non-English OS's the software will NOT work. Upgrade my OS to Win8 (worth 119€) just to use a 25€ add-on to FSX is, imho, a bit exagerated, however good said software is. As for Vistalizator, not everyone is believing it is such a grand piece of software and it seems it voids the Genuine Windows validation. Will there be any way to swap to a button controlled version?
  4. Good afternoon! Thank you for your replies. I suspected the registry because I recently had a big crash on my system and still today, not everything is working as it should. I uninstalled Airbus X, reinstalled it and afterwards, FS2Crew did install properly. Except I have lost all airline names, bar those invented by MS. Is there anyway I can get them back? Regarding the 1.1 version, do I simply re-download the software? File size seems to be the same, though I purchased it a few days before it was released. How can I find out which version I'm running? Again, thank you all!
  5. Good day to you all! I could do with a little help: I cannot seem to install FS2 Crew. The error message is that Arbus Xtended is not installed. I guess it has to do with the registry. I tried and Google a possible solution but so far drew a blank. Thank you in advance for you help. Laurentzi
  6. Yes, I do confirm it does work with CFM liveries on my system
  7. That's fairly odd, the WR works on both the A318 and the A320, and every livery on my system. As as the import FP function, I seldom use it but it works fine too, so it might have to do with errors upon install on your machine.Cheers!
  8. I fully agree with you on this one. Now, the metric altimeter works, so maybe not really worth the money, but all in all no better choice when it comes to Airbus, so far.I've received a number of replies from their support, it would be so much easier for them to have a forum and inform their clients, it seems a new installer should be released soon.
  9. It works fine on my system. Within the limits that were mentioned before. Shame on Wilco, though, for not informing its customers about the usefulness (or not) of ver 1.0b.
  10. JP, we might eventually see the light, mind. You do have a valid point about the usefulness of the HUD in real aviation. I was mainly questioning it in simulation. To be honest, I would have preferred to see it implemented in the VC rather than the 2D panel. For a very simple reason, VC can be zoomed in and out as well as panned. Sure will be cool to use for manual approach, full screen and all. It's just a matter of personal choice, and personal choices should be respected. Now waiting for FSLabs A320...
  11. Hi!On my list of download, only ver1.0b for FS9 is listed :-( twice, actually...
  12. Seems some of us do not like to be contradicted here. Shame, I thought fora were meant to EXCHANGE opinions.I still believe the HUD is a gimmick but I'm glad some simmers find it useful. It does work fine and does look pretty, I still regret not to have access to any other switch that's not programmed on my stick but that's just me and it must indeed be the wiring. To catch the ILS, it's true you need be within restrictive parameters, it works better than before, however. I have not experienced any CTD so far due to this specific software that I could identify.I just wish Wilco could fix the managed descent and other minor glitches and I'd be happy.
  13. Mmmm... I'm not sure I like being called stupid. I'm afraid this is getting out of hand. I have minor complains only with this product, it works more or less as advertised for most of us and I just wanted to share that opinion. But if that opinion does not deserve respect on that forum, then I sure won't carry on!
  14. Granted, duty was a poor choice of words, none the less I reckon by leaning on providers of services, regardless what they are, we have the power, as customers, to make things happen. There is no need to wish them dead for that. Wilco is by no means the child eating ogre some are describing here. Funny, I never believed I'd ever be defending them. :-)And yes, we are accepting the downsides of their products, but it does not mean we can't try have them corrected. I have, actually been in touch with customer support and they do reply. OK, they haven't yet come up with a solution but I keep faith.
