After a complet reinstall of windows and all pmdg and fsx  products reinstalled, at my first flight as KAL53, i get a FMC message on  eicas while there is nothing wrong on fmc. It seems like and old issue that i recall discusing  before service packs were out...

Any body has an idea ?

I had update my b777 300ER. During landing To VHHH airport I experienced Some problems with the autothrottle speed controlling. There was Some wind from 230 at 10kts and outliers with 20 Kts something like that. The autothrottle does not follow the input speed limits exactly, this results for me two times in a stall. So I had disabled the autothrottle and used the throttle manually. Did I Anything wrong? Or is that a known problem with the 777? Because I never experienced this error with the 737 ngx.

 

Please tell me your experience about this error

It happened to me as well, its a problem about ASN (If you have it) Service pack. try to fly without the sp1b. thats solved the problem for me. try this or wait for furter sp from hifi to correct this problem.

- My Account;

- View Previous Orders;

and then download the update that is going to be right there...am I right???

if you want to buy it BEFORE the release of the up coming SP, you can download it via operation center. if you buy it at/after the release, you wont have to download the update. After the release the download ploducts come up to date

i just wanted to make sure that whether it was fixed or not because i had some problems latley about the sequence of installing the service packs and tought that it was my fault.

It is just a small tiny issue i think pmdg forgot to resolve. Because i recall reading in some topics that the fire test message was wrong so it should ve been "fire test in prog." Instead of "fire test in progres". i ld like to know why pmdg hasnt changed it in all those service packs?

one day when there is nothing left to simulate, they will make the flight  simulator itself

but for now, im beting they will go for a 787 after 747v2... and for those that want to have classic 3 cockpit crew aircraft like for fsx, i dont think its doable for fsx as you cant fly it with 1 pilot on simulator

Here is a video after reinstalling sp1c and hole pmdg 777. I was suposed to install sp1 then sp1b and check it without sp1c but i could nt find the sp1 where i tought i stored. So i went on doing it via the oc. But it installed the latest sp.

In this video i used a default wheather senario of the fsx and i think the problems seem like gone. I tried the same landing with asn and it happend again.

Please everyone suffering from these problems, make same tests and we ll see for sure the what causes the problem.

tonight im going to remove every thing and reinstall the t7 untill sp1b. we ll see if it still happens. if yes, the problem is in sp1c (which i doubt). i ll let you know here

The thing is, i ve already done it yesterday. I ve removed every single pmdg files from my computer. i ve lunched a search for pmdg files in the entire computer in order to make sure that i have a complete reinstall.

I have stored my pmdg copies( ngx, t7, t7-300er and all service packs) in a usb stick and the thing that i may do wrong is the istallation sequences. I know that u ve already told us what to do about ''things we sould do before installing service packs''. But im a little confuised about what i did yesterday.

After i ve removed avery pmdg file from my computer i ve reinstalled the T7 Base p., the RTM version then sp1c for the -200lr/f  and -300er then sp1c for -300er.

I skiped the sp1 and sp1b as i ve read somewhere that the sp1c ld update either from RTM or sp1+sp1b to sp1c.

Is this maybe the problem?

hi everyone

 Im facing 2 problems since the latest service pack of the T7(sp1c).

*the first one is that the  auto thrust cant keep the speed on short finals it even drops to the yellow bar ( ive tested it  almost 10 times in diffrent weather conditions ). 

*the second one is that when approaching 100-150ft agl, the the aircraft levels off (on manual flight and trim good) and i have to put a good amound of forword input to the yokes.

now i assume that the t7 fbw system has a kind of flare mode but in this case it levels off at approx 100 ft agl  where i sould be somewhere around 600-750 fpm

Anybody having this kind of issues ? Maybe they are not issues and im doing something wrong. Please enlighten me.

i have a question robert,

First of all, i appreciate your great work to bring this kind of simulation to an 8 years old simulator.

Some where colse to the realease of sp1, i remember you saying that you were working on ( or you have plans to work on, im not sure) gound effects like realistic taxiing power usage depanding the surface of the taxi way or  something like that and you told us to expect this feuture in a further update. I was wondering that, did you already make it in sp1b or not yet ? Or this is one of the feutures you are working on right now for sp1c?

track up is an airlines otion if you want to center your ND on your track you have to activate track up in pmdg settings on the fmc menu.  And track mode on the mcp is very usefull as mantioned when flying based on tracks as it prevents the wind corrections

i use flaps 15 when the ac is loaded more than 300 000kg and if i use a runway shorter than 3500m. and flaps 20 when the ac is close to his mx tow wivh is around 251 000 kg(-300er) and runway less than 3000m .

but as u mantioned, we cannot know exactly the optimum config with accurency.

Why is the RAT deployed?

Have had a failure on the center hydraulic system as well? Because in case of a single engine failure the RAT should not be required.

you are right but untill the apu is up. i tought it would help the gen 1 as rat gets an immidiate suply once deployed and you dont have to wait much like for the apu...

anyway i was making  some handfly training and multiple touch and gos i didnt follow the procedure

i just wanted to share my video and have your toughts what a lovely aircraft well done pmdg like always !

I dont have any problem with the maingear noise as i think i hear enough to be realistic but i ld love to have each tire to have the smoke effect in order to observe smooth landings because you dont see the smoke untill all tires touch down. I ve discussed this in a different topic long time ago and hoped that it ld be added in sp1 but as long as i ve seen in the first Impression videos, i didnt see any change( i ll test my sp1 once i get back home from holiday). Its not a must have feature but you know, it would be cool to clearly see when landing perfectly smooth

FSX pausing when you look at another application, is a preference that you set in the menu.  You can control that through the FSX menu.  I can't remember which, but I think it is "General", or something.

Yes, you can watch a movie, or do other things while on FSX.  There could be some negative performance depending on whether resources that FSX may need at any given time are not available because they are allocated to the "other" things.  Suggest you try it, see how it affects, if in any way, your flight simulator experience, and report back to this forum.

sorry for confuising,  my question was'' how to do things in full screen other than fsx without having the fsx paused. ?'' for example if i quit the full screen in fsx  and go to youtube to look a video or something, when i click somewhere else other then fsx, the fsx pauses automaticly and i cant click the full screen on the video or movie and have the fsx running on the backround.

i try to do my best in english, i hope i could clarify the confuision :rolleyes:
