  1. Your performance has been Abysmal.Your results PatheticYou have failed ALL objectives.Your ability, Worthless. You are deemed Incompetent. You are Redundant. You're FIRED.Get OUT.
  2. 1. Go to Facebook2. Login3. Navigate to MS Flight4. Flame Them!
  3. Yes.This is the MOST PATHETIC title.Six Years Later. And we'll see FSX, but with 99% of content removed! If it's Not a simulator, Not a shooter, Not a strategy, Not a role player. What is it?A stupid kid game for little johnny.A shameless DLC money grab.A complete FAIL.You know what? These guys are going to get fired too. Just like ACES did. Perhaps they will learn a lesson.Kamikaze Jobless Fools.MORONS.Keep on posting to their facebook page.
  4. SHAME SHAME SHAME.Without all the addons flight sim is CRAPOLA. Flight sim is dull, boring, and not worth it.The world is way too big for Microsoft only. The planes are way too complex for Microsoft only. This is DISASTER.Who was the Microsoft goofball who had this ridiculous idea? Any attempt to communicate with the 'community' after this balls up will be met with malice.Remember that guy who called Aces management a pack of corporate wolves? He's right. You think we're really going to keep shelling out more and more money every week for this junk? The model sux it will FAIL.No detailed scenery, No detailed planes, No detailed weather effects, No detailed AI, No Vatsim, No custom textures/sounds, No cool addons, No cool utilities = FAIL, FAIL, FAIL.People have short memories. Not me. On day one, FSX was a P.O.S. 4 stutters per second over Seattle in a Cessna. Embarrassing, yes.But then came the feverish efforts of the 'community'. New textures, hacks, addons. It became useable (just). If you didn't like it you could always go back to Fs9 with it's million add on's.MS Flight will be known as the KAMIKAZE of flight Sims. Guided by those with a death wish. One massive nose dive which misses it's target and explodes in a fireball. It will appeal to NOBODY. The product is FAIL. The product is BOYCOTTED.
  5. How far we have Not Come. How many years later? Nine I believe. Anyone who was around to purchase the original PMDG 737 knows exactly how buggy that product was. It took 3 or 4 major service packs to patch that thing up. But now it's 2011. Judging by all the user experiences here this one is just as buggy. If Not worse. "Crash to Desktop", "Massive Drop in Frames", "Another Frozen Panel". etc etc. Oh dear, oh dear.
  6. Oh yes n4gix. The guy who (in the presence of Mike 'tdragger' Gilbert) called ACES management: "corporate wolves" and "bean counters". How can I forget?!
  7. That's embarrassing. If you can't face facts then You are ignorant by definition. Go back and search for the DX10 preview and the outcome of that. Seems you have a very bad memory or you somehow choose to forget it.
  8. Thanks. It seems many in the peanut gallery are either too old to remember or too new to know about that little thing called "DX10 preview" for FSX, which eventually turned out to be an artists impression and which eventually lead to flawed patches and non-delivery of what they "promised".Anyway... let's not go there. MS Flight has the makings to potentially be great if it can take all the good of flight sim and mix in a new graphics engine.
  9. The graphics engine code should use the video card. But this is not the case with FSX. You can have the latest super fast video card but it makes no difference. It is CPU bound. One thing I did was build a cheap PC with a lowly Intel E5200, 2gb ram, 500GB HDD. But I put a HD4770 video card in which was a 'decent' one at the time, but still quite cheap. I found I could play the latest games and get great graphics usually on medium-high settings. Take for instance HAWX. You could have a multi-player online dogfight and with stunning graphics! You don't even need to display the FPS because its always so smooth! No stutters. And other games too like Crysis had excellent graphics on med-high settings. Obviously these games were coded properly to use the graphics card, as it should. Can only hope the MS Flight engine will be similar.
  10. I pretty much gave up on FSX sometime in 2007. Too frustrated with poor performance and bugs and lies/propaganda from ACES. But the other day I just saw in PC Pilot about the upcoming MS Flight.About MS Flight:1. Good decision to finally rewrite the graphics engine from the ground up. This is the only way forward. No more bolting stuff on and calling it a new version!2. ACES team had to go. They had grown too fat and happy off flight sim and did not have the skills or energy to redevelop the sim to use the latest technologies.3. Assuming Flight developers are competent we can expect it to have great visuals and performance, even with add ons. Just because this is a flight sim doesn't mean it should run like a three legged dog! 4. It sounds clear MS are developing tools to convert FSX aircraft / scenery into Flight aircraft / scenery.5. Summary: Flight is looking promising and will be designed for simmers as much as the casual crowd. I may be tempted to get into flight siming again.
