  1. Many thanks, Joe. That's the problem, they are there in FSX Photos tab, but they are not in C:Documents and Settingsyour nameMy DocumentsMy PicturesFlight Simulator Files folder. They are visible in FSX Pilot Records Photos, but I can't find them anywhere in Windows Explorer. Nothing to do with shutting down FSX or anything, if I start it up again they're still there in FSX, but just not visible anywhere outside FSX. As I said, I did figure this one out years ago, but for the life of me can't remember the answer! You will be helping quite a few guys if you can come up with answer!!! Thanks, Phil (UK).
  2. Hi chaps, an old question, but still relevant:Please could someone tell me where the screenshots get stored on XP? I did have this figured out once, but came back to FSX after a gap and can't find them anywhere, no matter how hard I try. Some helpful fellows have come back withFor WinXP, this is the folder path...x:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\My Pictures\Flight Simulator X Files But they ain't there! I searched my C drive (the only one I've got) for all .BMP files, and sorted by date created most recently. They're not there. I've had this problem before (there are loads of posts on this when you do an internet search, but no-one ever has an answer), can anyone remember what the answer was? Any advice chaps? Many thanks, Phil, UK.
  3. Right, rude and unkind people. I've come back to FSX and had the same problem again, I can't find the screenshots. I found them before, which is why I made my comment about "not on XP they ain't". But I've forgotten where I did find them:-)Anyway, just found this thread again on my searches and a bit upset to find people saying nasty things about me since last time I asked for help. So:1) Ain't is a perfectly valid word in English. I suggest you check your copy of the Oxford English Dictionary. I can't answer for how you have mangled my mother tongue in Michigan, funny country. "Ain't" was used in English long before you lot got to the other side of the Atlantic from your multiple places of birth. "Ain't" is certainly a word in Plymouth, Devon (where I was born).2) A troll is something who lives in a cave. I'm not sure what you mean.3) If I still can't find an answer to this age-old question of where FSX keeps the screenshots, even after half an hour of searching the internet, it suggests to me that there is a real problem, since there are so many posts about it all over the place (but no useful answers, apart from fatuous ones from idiots).I thank you so much for you lack of help.Phil, UK.
  4. wrong. not in xp it ain't.
  5. I have exactly the same problem, just installed FSX a few weeks ago. Got as far as doing the missiom/tutorial 8 "Transitioning to Jets", failed it, and now any of my free flights since then are not listed under Free Flight->Load, only if I go to missions and select Tutorial 8 with "Show Saved Missions" clicked. And then I have to guess because my saved flights are only saved with a timestamp in the name, and when I select one and manage to land I get the annoying voice pop up and say "we aren't supposed to land here. We are supposed to land in Glasgow". I give an appropriate verbal response every time he says this. But the more importamt point is that I've now got about 200 flights which I've saved and I can only list them by date and time under "Mission 8"! Any ideas Guys? Many thanks, Phil.
