Hi everybody... Please instruct me on "how" to modify my aircraft and panel configs in FSX to place a visible and audible sonic boom effect in various aircraft within my FSX inventory? I'm running Windows 10 Professional 64 bit. Is there a way to get that quick cloud effect, and the boom that goes with it? Educate me, please? Thank you.

FSX-MS 2D panel -versus- VC in FSX.... I want both.
aviation1972 posted a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
In FS9, ( FS2004 ), I would scroll through my camera views, beginning with 2D panel. Next view would be VC, followed by the external views of the aircraft. In FSX, it seems I'm forced to choose between the 2D panel view, or the VC, ( and I can only get the one I've chosen ). I know I'm at fault here. There's no way FSX is less versatile than FS9 used to be. So, can you PLEASE tell me "how" to get all my camera views back, and in the same order that I had them before? Please? I am comfortable modifying config. files, if that's what I need to do. Thank you very much. You see, I fly from both panels. My Garmin GPS is visible in my 2D panel only. In my VC panel, I have greater visibility, and the opportunity to look around. When I'm forced to insert a GPS into my VC panel, it never disappears, ( as you know ). It just floats there, and remains visible, even when you scroll to your external views of the aircraft. That's a "No-No". So, I need both panels, ( 2D, and VC ). So, could some of you "pros" out there, please take the time to teach me what I'm doing wrong, or what it is that I'm overlooking, or have forgotten? I need some help..... Thanks. -
I need the names of joysticks that are detected, recognized, and work properly in a 64bit environment. Windows 7 Professional, FSX-Deluxe. But, Windows 7 is 64bit, ( not 32bit ). This is very urgent, ( for me ). Brand new desktop pc. So far, "unusable". Thanks Everybody. I really need your help.

I have a copy of Flight Sim 2004 "backed up" on a separate hard drive on my PC, ( in case of emergency ). Well, I had an emergency. Following the PC crash, I rebuilt the operating system, ( Windows XP Pro ), and I reinstalled FS9, and transferred the backed up version to my main hard drive. It works fine, but my Afterburner and Smoke Effects have disappeared. My Textures are all present, and so are the Effects themselves. I think it's some sort of "Gauge" or "Config" problem. Trouble is, it's affecting EVERY aircraft I have, that previously showed the afterburner and smokes effects properly. The same "assignment keys" assigned before, are assigned now. So, that's not the problem either. Can anyone out there help me? This happened once before, ( years ago ), and the solution was simple. Someone came up with it. I just don't remember the solution. Thanks very much....... Russ.

I have the JABBGL utility, but I must not know, ( precisely ), how to use it. How many feet in elevation am I changing, per decimal place? I have two sceneries, that I fly to often. As I land the runways and greenery disappear. I'm able to make successful landings by ignoring this, but it's extremely irritating. How can I adjust ground elevation properly? The two sceneries are KBWI and KADW. Thanks. I NEED HELP........ And, while I'm thinking about it, my KRDU scenery, and my Mobile, Alabama scenery contains large white areas on the airport grounds, including the runways. No tarmac color, or apron color. No asphalt, or concrete, but large white areas with no color at all. I have tried placing texture files in those two scenery folders to include what appeared to be missing texture files, ( in order to include the missing colors ), but that didn't work for KRDU, or for Mobile, Alabama. Any ideas? Thanks again. I really appreciate any help you can offer...... Seriously.
