    Nice plane and  its great to fly but performance is very bad its not working at all at hevy airports for me. It start stutters and camera movements goes blurry on ground an short finals. even at flightbeam kmsp. When turn off framegenerator blurrynes disappear but then get like 17 fps.  Pmdg 737 and fenix works so smooth even at ini. Kjfk. I have 7800x3d and 4080 settings high and LOD 150.

    Interesting. 13600K/4090 here and at 4k with pretty much everything on ultra with TLOD 150 and FSLTL. I still get 50-70 at Drzewiecki Design KBFI and 80-90 at smaller airports like Verticalsim KBOI. A bit worse on performance than Fenix but nothing as bad as you're experiencing.

  2. 1. Sadly a full reinstall is required. No quick in-game solution to switch avionics.

    2. I had the same issue on my flight last night during approach step downs. If I spun the VS knob + or - 100 it would initiate, but not when I pressed the ENG button with a VS rate already selected. Oddly I've watched videos from others on YT and they don't seem to have this issue.

    Here is a clip of V1-Simulation using the KAS927 as stated but it works fine on his end:

  3. I fully understand WHY this is happening. I get that the aircraft is making a transition from ground to air physics. I guess my main question is why this isn't an issue on literally any other plane in the sim? Yes, it is manageable if you are aware of it and really pay attention to your rotation speed, but even in Overkill's video it starts violently veering off the runway at about 70-75 knots. I love the plane otherwise and I've had a few great flights so far. Once they can dial in that ground to air transition this will be one of my favorites.

    Hi - I will be picking this up for sure.  Can anyone let me know how Beta range works on this?  Is it similar to the TBM 850?  On the FSR500, I have a curve set up on my Throttle range to make it work in a similar manner to the TBM where bottom 15% of throttle range is beta..  I watched a couple videos and read the manual but have not seen anything mentioned.  Thanks!

    It's more like the FSR500.

    This was addressed when the plane was overhauled in AAU1. The flight model is completely different than the mod was, and crosswind landings of very high values was tested.

    Oh, good to know. I know I've flown the CJ4 a handful of times since AAU1, I must've just not given it a go in a crosswind scenario. This is the push I need to spend some more time back in this bird.

  6. I know there were issues with the PMS GTN with the initial release when the "WTT mode" was not native. Since then the PMS has been updated and the TBM v1.1 included WTT mode compatibility. Maybe make sure you're running the current version of both?

    I've logged about 12 hours in the TBM and nearly every flight has ended in an ILS approach and I haven't had a single issue.

    Did you guys see this mod on .to? It is subtle but removes the harsh lines in the annunciator panel. I don't personally have the plane yet, but I'm impressed by this improvement and I've been following the discussion.

    https://flightsim.to/file/62131/black-square-tbm-850-annunciator-panel-frame-lines-improvement-mod

    The mod is now obsolete. From the changelog on the update: "- The white outlines on the annunciator panel have been reduced in their prominence, and the color of the amber annunciators has been adjusted for a more pleasing effect."

    Did anyone notice the prop lever going from max (100% range )to about 75% inflight by itself?  I am pretty sure i don't touch my physical lever (Thrustmaster TCA quadrant) unless i want to reduce rpm. This happened on 2 consecutive flights, and on the 2nd flight i even unassigned the prop lever and only used the virtual prop lever from the aircraft...to eliminate a potential hardware issue.

    I currently have about 7-8 hours in it and haven't experienced this.

    Hey Guys,

    I have been thinking about picking this up and have been watching quite a bit of content on the BS TBM 850 and the real one with Stevo1Kinevo. Lots of positive reviews and she does look like an awesome addon.

    I downloaded the manual last night to have a read and saw that there are 2 options if you want the GTN 750, a free version and a paid version. Is the free version a good choice or is the paid version the recommended option? I would like to have the option of more modern avionics with the GTN 750 as well as the old school avionics

    You can always just start with the free PMS GTN and then if you're needing the additional features that the paid version offers you can just upgrade.

    I did it! Used the Xbox App and changed the exe file location which now lives in Content folder. One of the bravest thing I´ve done for a long time.... 🙂 Managed to put the 3 files in there. However, the toggle switch (CTRL I assume) is still not working...

    He made HOLD_CTRL to true by default now so if you enable the toggle it should look like this:

    [TOGGLE]
    ENABLED = true
    ; See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/inputdev/virtual-key-codes for all the key codes
    ; Default: INSERT
    KEY_CODE = 0x2D
    HOLD_ALT = false
    HOLD_CTRL = true
    HOLD_SHIFT = false

    So "ENABLED" needs to be set to true and then you'll need to press CTRL+INSERT in-game to toggle it on/off.

    For me, it is nudging into 850 HP mode without backing off first - it shoots all the way up to 130%

    So far I've just gotten in the habit of having the inertial separator on for all takeoffs, then when I go into 850 mode it won't rocket too high. At that point I can turn off the inertial separator and slowly manage the torque as it closes.

    Hard to compare since they are so different.. but in my opinion, they are both examples of the very best in GA aircraft available for MSFS.  Both addons are created by committed developers and show an almost fanatical dedication to getting every detail right.  I am happy that I own both.  At present I am flying the TBM pretty much all the time..

    Agreed. I use the Comanche to buzz around a lot of local strips. With the TBM I've been downloading a bunch of freeware/payware airports all over the PNW and hoping all over the place for the last week. Having the speed to get places quickly along with the ability to get in and out of short trips has me flying nothing but the TBM currently. I haven't had this much fun in a new aircraft release in a long time.

    Do you happen to know if FaceTrackNoIR stays pointing at what you were looking at if you pause the head tracking (my biggest peeve with the Tobii Experience software is that it recenters your view when you pause head tracking)?

    Yup, there is an option in the settings on what behavior you want when pausing. Then when you un-pause it makes a very smooth transition back to center.
