Ok, thanks for confirming that :-) Regards David.

Hi Folks. I have just purchased ChasePlane, and its superb! Very happy :-) I have a quick question. I also fly with VR and noticed that FlyInside clashes with ChasePlane in that FlyInside is looking for "Title = Virtual Cockpit" within the camera.cfg, but ChasePlane appears to comment this out. Seeing TrackIR is supported, I wondered if there is a plan to resolve this for VR? Regards. David.

Project Opensky CRJ-700 FDE Question
Haw_Boo replied to houndog528's topic in The FS2004 (FS9) Forum
Hi. I have a some what odd suggestion for you on this one, but thought it worth suggesting as I saw no one had replied. I am not sure what form the tweak came in that your looking for, but have you tried using "internet archive wayback machine" (http://archive.org/web/)? This creates snapshots of websites over time. They are not complete copies of websites, so things like downloads might be missing. But it contains a fair bit of info which has been great use to myself over the years for research. I was thinking if you could pin down some specific time frame, dates, and other details, you might be able to find it here and at least get a file name or maybe even the tweak itself. I already checked for the old posky pages, and they exist on this archive. And I also checked out "May 2008" which seems to be the date of some of the FDE files that exist on the CRJ-700 posky archive zips, and that time frame also exists, along with many months and years around it. I know it might sound like a crazy idea, but with a little research, it might bring you some leads - if anything. Just go to the archive website link provided above, type in "www.projectopensky.com" is the website, and then select a date time frame. There is a graphical bar at the top that shows the amount of times a snapshot of the website was taken. Once again its just a snapshot and does not contain everything, but it might help. Hope that helps. Regards. -
Managed to find a set of 737PIC FMC flight plans on AVSIM, and confirm that they can be loaded fine from the "..\customdb" directory. I used the "co route" to load them up. BUT. Still "route <save" does not appear to be working, unless its doing something else somewhere else. Any ideas welcome. Anyone have 737 PIC? Does your FMC "route <save" work? If so, what and where does it save?
-
Does anyone have a sample 737 PIC FMC flight plan they could send me that I can test with please?
-
Further to my last update, I cannot seem to get this working. Not sure why???
-
Hi. Thanks for your reply and info. That answers my question regarding "co route", thanks :-) I will take a look at FSBuild at some point as it looks like a good addition to my collection. But when i manually enter a route in to the FMC, I am sure that the "route save" is not working as expected, but not sure why. Looking at that vroute info you provided it certainly looks like its supposed to r/w from the "...\customdb" directory, but nothing happens for me when saving. I don't have a FMC flight plan to test reading from. However. All the permissions for my user are correct and open for all folders in connection with FS2004. When I click the FMC button next to "route save" nothing happens, and get no errors or messages anywhere. (would be nice to have a log file to work from at this stage ;-) ) I am using a simple route for speed and something for the FMC to save, but it tells me its a valid route (EGMH, DET, EGLL). Going to try and get a test route put together some how later tonight, and see if the FMC reads that. Thanks.

Hi Folks. Trying here just in case someone can help. When using FS2004 "737 Pilot In Command"'s FMS, does anyone know how the functions "co route" and "route <save" work please? - "co route" appears to allow the setting up of routes under specific names, but cannot work out how to save a route with a "co route" name, and then how to load it? - I cannot work out where "route <save" saves to, or if its even saving? I am using FS2004 under Win7Pro. I see no errors in FS2004 or 737PIC & its FMS, and am sure its a simple case of understanding how it works. Any ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.

ASE Minimised
Haw_Boo replied to Haw_Boo's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support Forum
Hi Folks. Ok, I found a mention on this forum that the windows position is held in the registry, so I took a look. I found that ASE WindowsPosX was set to 3190, and therefore outside of my view. So I set it to the same as WindowsPosY (83 decimal), and now the window is back. I have no clue why PosX became set to 3190. Just for the record I have 3 x 19" screens, running from 2 x GPU's. My middle screen (screen 2) is set to be the windows default. I notice some pretty wacky screen positions when i move the window to screen 1 (left) and 3 (right), and not sure if something goes wrong there, but the wacky values are huge something like 9 or 10 numbers in length. Anyway I am sorted now. Regards. -
Hi Folks. A couple of days ago i had everything working fine, but today ASE does not want to run as a window on the desktop. It seems to be running minimised, but i cannot restore it. I have tried various different suggestions from this forum such as uninstall, reinstall, delete the 2 main directories etc. But nothing resolves the problem. ASX, ASA and XGraphics all work fine. I am running Windows 7, and have upgraded from ASA to ASE. I also have ASE SP2 installed. Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Regards.
