  1. Yup right now on newegg if your making a new build it's more cheap to buy a ssd now and use your old hdd now. Although later down the line when prices go down then hdd will be allot more worth it. :)
  2. Is the effect of a new graphics card worth it in terms of fsx performance ? Would the jump from a gtx 560 to a ti be worth it for fsx Purposes ?
  3. Hmm now that brings up another issue, should I use the money to buy a gtx 560 or spend some more and get a gtx 560ti ?
  4. That's a very good idea ! Thanks I thinkbill go that route and get the money to spend on a GTX 560
  5. Hmm I see so te gpu is a no no because it's not nvidea ? I also have another one but it has a gtx 550ti instead.
  6. Should I get it and if so how will the performance be like in fsx? Thanks guys
  7. Hmm or if you dont want to dish out for a GTX 580 then you could try SLI witht eh 560's because you have a strong enough powersupply and your mobo supports it :)
  8. Okay I scratched the ATI/AMD build and made this build here. I recently got an I7-2600K as a gift so I did not include it here. This will be my final build and I plan on using this for a good 4-5 years and most probably upgrade along the way (IE: SLI and ivy bridge). I have the money now and am all set to pull the trigger. My budget is 1200 dollars but it turns out to be 1206$ after shipping and taxes which is okay. What do you think overall?
  9. Not sure if the question was targeted towards me but I use REX, also soon to come GEX and UTX, and for aircraft I have the QW 757, Wilco airbus vol 2, and the PMDG NGX.again sorry if it wasn't targeted towards me.
  10. Alright so should I pull the trigger and is there any thing that I should upgrade with the money I save with this computer?

Yup that's pretty low considering that it is brand new and that the monitor, keyboard, and mouse is 400$ :P.So this isn't exactly for FSX but more for other games such as ARMA 2 and the new and coming Battlefield 3. I think it will preform well but I was wondering how it would do with FSX. My other build stated in my sig is well being used by my family more than me so I might as well get another computer just for me. So what do you think? is this a good build and how would this preform ? Thanks,
  12. Great rig mate, you and FSX will be best friends with that rig
  13. You will be able to turn it on, yes. The lights and such should start but you will get an error unless you have on board video.
