what is the best way to learn?
Yes I understand spoken English but for me better is American, not English from England - their dialect is hard to understand for me. I know Angle of Attack training but for now I am out of money, is it expensive? Generally I think written English is better for me but I understand spoken also. I think the best possible way could be someone who may teach me but I have no idea who could it be. As for now I didn't find the person in Poland with NGX. $79 angle of attack - ok

what is the best way to learn?
Hello My name is Andrew and I am from Poland. I have only base package of NGX and I have fs2crew also, a little number of sceneries - EPRZ, EPKK, EPGD, EPKT, EDDF, EGLL, that's all.Sometimes I find it very difficult to learn this aircraft, maybe it is because I don't fully understand what is written in manuals and tutorials. My English is rather intermediate, if something is written in technical language then I give up, I don't understand technical language. I am passionate about this aircraft, really love it but I am totally confused sometimes, I am dreaming about being proffesional simmer of NGX. Yesterday I have flown the route from EPRZ to EDDF with fs2crew, I found some problems on the way, for example: I have pushed too early the app button and the aircraft suddenly from 5000 ft went down steeply for a glideslope's track and the speed of a/c highly grown on a flap schedule on landing, this situation was on a straight in way to runway 25R to EDDF, I was dissapointed by that and I thought "oh God, again, I did something wrong". On that flight I had printed flow of Captain Flying from fs2crew and strictly did what was written there. When I arrived at Frankfurt I didn't hear the passengers getting out of the plane, I don't know why, the next reason why I am sad today. What I am questioning about is in the topic's title. What is the best way to learn this airplane? I mean, do I have to memorise all the flows, operations of the a/c? I have read the fcom vol 2 until chapter where FMC was described, it was long time consuming challenge but I still don't know how some things to operate, what some switches do and what is happening if I operate the a/c in the way I do this, for example I still don't know and don't understand all the schematics of electrical system and air conditioning system, the same is with engines startup - I don't know what is going on and WHY! Please advise me what to do to be proffesional. Thank u for reading. Depressed Andrew EDIT I am really jealous to people who are from USA, because of their language. I wish I could go to the USA in the future.

what are vnav pth and vnav spd on the fma?
Hi everyone I would like to ask about topic title. what are the differences between these two modes? when do they occur? what do they mean? they always show up on the fma ( flight mode annunciator). in addition tell the same about vnav alt, please. I think these 3 modes are only in subject to vnav. when i get this described I will see everything clearly so this very important thing to me which is related to flying 737-800 ngx, without it I am flying but I don't understand what is happening. Pleaseee help me, any answer will be appreciated

the 2d overhead panel is not bright
HiI have got problem with 2d overhead panel. when I switch to that view, the overhead panel is very dark and I can't see anything when I am flying at night. in 3d view panel is lightened and is ok. I have tried with circuit breaker switch and panel switch on the overhead but it still remains dark, the panel switch only lightens the text below every switch but doesn't lighten the background.

what lvl ch is for?
so one thing that I don't understand but you are talking about CLB, CLB 1 and 2 and as I know these are values limited by fmc so it looks like LVL CH takes these values (limits) from fmcAGAIN - correct me if I am wrong :)
-

manual procedure turn and fuel planning
it is because of radius of a turn and it depends on speed of an aircraft. when speed of a/c changes, the radius changes also
-
manual procedure turn and fuel planning
is it any instrument in boeing 737 800 which helps me to do a procedure turn? I know this solution which tells me to divide speed by 10 and add half but is it any other solution?. The point in this conversation is I want to be the most exact on the final, on the localizer course so the solution with ndb is the best. in relation to your solution it depends on speed which I fly and there is another problem with radius of the turn so your solution takes plane not on the localiser course because like said before it depends on speed and on radius of the turn your solution is the best I think but I don't understand why this ndb isn't on my chart taken from uk aip, so why?
