  1. yeah, the audio was good. Our simmers can probably relate to it more than people who have no idea about flight controls. The old lady sounded really poised. Amazing story.
  2. Ahh, OK. Don't know how I missed that. Ahh, OK. Don't know how I missed that. Thanks.
  3. You guys heard this news, right? It was two days ago. No one comment? http://www.theblaze.com/stories/stunning-audio-released-of-80-year-old-woman-landing-plane-after-husband-dies-in-cockpit/ The audio was just released today. She was guided to landing by another pilot who flew another small plane side by side with her. http://doorcountysheriff.homestead.com/April_2012_002.mp3 She's amazing. This is like a real life version of Marverick guided down Couger in the beginning of Top Gun, except the pilot was an 80 year old woman who never flew a plane before.
  4. HiFlyer,I've never had any issue with TrackIR - till Flight, which does not really support it. I've used it in IL2, FS9, FalconBMS. It's quite worth it especially for the games that support 6DOF. You can try out some free solutions using a webcam, such as FreeTrack, before you spend the money on TrackIR.My system is quite new, as mentioned in my first post. Actually I just replaced my 5 year old rig with it. Strangely, it was smoother in my older system.
  5. for me the view does center back. well, sort of. but at least I don't have to reset the view every time. Funny different people got different results (or issues rather)...
  6. I am using TrackIR Mouse Emulation to control the view. It works, but the view seems jumpy or jerky, not smooth at all. I did uncheck "enhance mouse precision" (or something like that) in the Windows Control Panel. Didn't help. Does anyone using TrackIR have this issue? My system is i5-2500K/560Ti. I have 8G memory, but only Windows XP. Thanks.
