April 5, 201214 yr You guys heard this news, right? It was two days ago. No one comment? http://www.theblaze.com/stories/stunning-audio-released-of-80-year-old-woman-landing-plane-after-husband-dies-in-cockpit/ The audio was just released today. She was guided to landing by another pilot who flew another small plane side by side with her. http://doorcountysheriff.homestead.com/April_2012_002.mp3 She's amazing. This is like a real life version of Marverick guided down Couger in the beginning of Top Gun, except the pilot was an 80 year old woman who never flew a plane before.

April 5, 201214 yr 80 year old woman who never flew a plane before Except that she had flown a plane before, just not this one, and not recently. However, if she flys with her husband regularly in that plane, she's probably had quite a bit of time at the controls. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! April 5, 201214 yr Author yeah, the audio was good. Our simmers can probably relate to it more than people who have no idea about flight controls. The old lady sounded really poised. Amazing story.
