  1. O.k. Kyle, thanks again. Removed the chocks as you suggested and all is well.
  2. Thanks for that Kyle. I shall try that tomorrow, and include my full name.
  3. Hi all, The parking brake on all my 737NGX planes no longer release when the period key is pressed, or button 1 on my joystick. The brakes do release on all other planes, default and add on including the PMDG Jetstream 41. The problem seems to have started after a disc. wipe using O&O defrag. software. Does anybody have any ideas as to which file possibly has gone missing? And how to rectify the problem. Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks for that Kevin. Found it, tried it, all o.k.
  5. Hi all, does any one know whether cabin lights are fitted in the JS41? And if they are where can I find the switch for those? Thanks in advance.
  6. That's correct Wes. I would suggest creating another layer (photoshop) then in the layers drop down box select darker or colour burn to retain the established shadows and rivets on the rings. You could also use multiply instead. You have to experiment a bit for best results. Don't forget to merge the layers when painting has finished.
  7. Found the answer. You'd have to paint direct on to the DDS file. The file can be found in 737-800 NGX under Texture common. The file is named as pmdg_NGX_misc.dds
  8. O.k. thanks Mark, a pity though. I've looked every where for it. It has happened in the past when I did a repaint of the Bae 146/200 using the paint kit, I could not find the landing wheel covers in the kit and found them eventually contained in the DDS files. So I thought maybe those rings where hidden like the covers.
  9. Hi all, I'm working on a repaint of Jet2. I want to make the engine cowling front rings a bit darker, but can't find them in the paint kit. Does anybody know if they exist in the paint kit, and if they do, where? Thanks for any help in advance.
  10. Will do Dan. Those are the ones I have started with.
  11. Kevin, I looked your suggestion up and found it, done it, thanks again. Dave, I'm still going through the manuals, I count eight of them. I do read the manuals as a rule. But thanks for your response. Mark, I was not aware that some airlines use them and others don't. However, I now have the choice.
  12. Thanks for that Kevin, I shall give it a try. Regards, Jaap.
  13. Hi all, I am new to PMDG NGX. I notice that on the default PMDG NGX 737-800 NGX aircraft there is a HGS combiner facility, which is not present on the re paint down loads (Ryanair and KLM) Why is this? And is it possible to insert that facility into re-paints? I had a quick look at the various aircraft Cfg.s, but don't want to do anything until some advice is forthcoming. Thanks in advance, Jaap.
