Thanks for that, I have been given the wrong information by someone who said that all instruments would have to be run on the same PC and there would have a major performance hit!I am new to all this and obviously want to ensure that I do the correct research, before embarking on the simpit build it's self.I have read many reviews on the software but not much for the cockpit/simpit builder point of view just runing the VC.From what I have read there seems nothing that can touch the 737NGX'x Flight Model and therefore I am interested in building something around this piece of software.I have found Ivar's website but it is being re-built after an hack attempt, but have bookmark it for future reference.Do you know any other website I could use for research into 737NGX simpits or reviews etc...Help always gratefully acceptedCheersChris

Just a few questions, can the seperate programs like MCP, CDU etc.. be run on other netwoked computers or must they all be on the same one?the ivar website you got the url?I have had loads of contact with various people giving the vurtues of iFly and Project Magenta, just need to get information on using PMDG for my Simpit, so I can make a more informed choice.Any other info why people thing the 737NGX is a good or bad platform to build a simpit around would be gratefully accepted.CheersChris Edwards

Yes I want to use the default guages that come with the 737ngx but looking at the various at the CPflight website and their MCP/EFIS require drivers from flightsimlabs and checking their website it is not clear if the driver are now or in the future compatable with 737ngx!I would prefer to find a MCP/EFIS that is compatable with 737NGX without having to purchase more drivers or have compatability issues from the off.

Hi I am new to FSX in general but hope to build a simpit around the 737ngx over the next month/years.I have look at many MCP/EFIS units but some require drivers to work with 737Ng and they say they are not looking to update the drivers in the near future.So would like to know who has a simpit like I'm looking to build and what MCP/EFIS are you using?Are you using the default instrumentation or Project Magenta?Any help gratefully acceptedChris Edwards
