Do I need an add on for GoFlight MCP-Panel using B737NG
Hi Guys, I am using the PMGD B 737 NG with FSX on XP software programmed by the Flusi. Now I decided to buy and orderd a GoFlight B737 MCP Panel. Do I need any additional software to go in function with the real MCP-Panel? Thanks for reply. Capt. Peter Eberle

No storage of Radio and FMC navigational Setup
Hi airmen, I used the FSX with NGX aircraft on a Windows XP computer and all the NAV setup for MCP and FMC get stored after saving the flight. Now I`ve got a new PC run by windows 7 with the same PMDG software and when I am closing the flight, -even stored- the complete Nav-steup is withdrawn at the next reopening of this flight! Does anybody knows help? Best regards, Peter

So, I fixed all the problems. One question: is any Thrust-Reverser available on the FSX B737NGX? Usually I am using the normal setup, -couldn`t found a FSUIPC like on the FS9!- SAITEK PANELS and FSUIPC
Hi, I`m using Saitek Flight yoke and Thrust for PMDG-NGX on the FSX now. Former times I used the FS9 and did a Thrust-Reverser programming on their FSUIPC. It workd fine. Now, on my FSX I have no FSUIPC and the default Set Up doesn`t offer Thrust-Reversers. Any idea what to do?- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Hello, due to updating my graphic setting, I fixed one of the problems: Now I can read everything on the FMC-CDU keyboard. The inertia of the Pitch UP movement still exists. I will go on with the trouble shooting.- 737NG suggestions for improvement
First Al: Thanks you for your help, -it works to click the CDU screen to get a full operable 2D-keybord. When I tryed a lot of things I found different operating-modes of switches by mouse-function between my stored missions! In some the right mouse button acting the knobs to turn to the r/h-side, others the mouse-wheel does that job! So I have to expect o lot of calibration in my system following a reinstall. I`ll keep you informed about the processing. Thanks to All at this point.- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Right. Usually, - everyone should never depart with an misstrimed aircraft! But: the trim is more to take the load of the controls related to the position of the current center of gravity (CG). Means: lift is a function of speed, angle of attack and weight related to present atmospheric conditions! If I am able to pull the yoke at the correct VR the aircraft should fly.- 737NG suggestions for improvement
No, I`m saying -properly trimed and VR- you have to pull the yoke slowly so that the a/c Pitch Rotation is 3° per second. On my Home computer I have to pull the control wheel complete backward and trim back to get a first reaction of Ptich Up movement, - that could only be a fault of my home-equipment!- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Generally -if your trim is inside the green band and you have VR-, Rotation behavior is more a function of the aircraft weight. In this simulation you are right, it`s just related to the trim and I have to pull the control wheel to the back end to get any result like Nose Up effect.- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Thank you Allwhen I am back home I gonna try all this options for the FMC-CDU- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Well, I`ve bought the FSX four month ago. Some weeks ago I`ve bought the PMDG NGX and it is a great simulation, very close to the real FMC-values and IFR technics and results. The real aircraft is for me easier to handle because it is part of my daily business and generally aircrafts behavior are closer to humans intuitive motor ability. Both "systems" are working analogic. So far, so good. Now about my request, if I`m using the virtual cockpit mode and turn my view into the inside of the Flight-deck, I can`t see any numbers and letters on the keyboard of the FMC-control display unit (CDU)! Only because I know the function of the keys in mind, I can use it and insert all that I need. Maybe my PC is too poor to show them? Do anybody of you have an idea what`s wrong?P.S. Thank you all, for your evaluation about this problem!- 737NG suggestions for improvement
Ok! after reading all this replies above I think I have to check my Home PC-performance and ist graphic card!?Maybe this will be the solution.- 737NG suggestions for improvement
