  1. When I reinstalled FS9 on my computer (Windows 7 OS) I went to recompile and accelerate EVP and I keep getting an error saying "Cannot created a file when that file already exists." After looking at the EVP Help, I read this: "EditVoicepack won’t start (Microsoft Voicepack damaged)Typically this happens when the voicepack files of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight has been changed by another program than EditVoicepack (like MyTraffic) but it can also happen in a few other situations. Please restore the original file from your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight CD number 2. The file is inside the file "MSGame4.cab" for the 10 voice setup, and inside the "MSGame5.cab" file for the three voice setup. Copy the file to the Sound directory under the Flight Simulator directory. In case the Sound directory contains files named *.evpOrg or Evp_Accelerated.gvp they should be deleted."When I do restore this file (I'm assuming its just dragging the file from the disk into the Sound folder) I still get the same error. I decided to uninstall FS9 and try again, making sure all FS9 files were gone. Same result. Now I have a ton of aircraft with "Silent" callsigns and I feel like I'm riding the short bus when talking to ATC.What do I need to do in order to get EVP to accelerate and recompile?
  2. Awesome advice and thank you for the quick response. I managed to get it to work thanks to your advice. Thanks again and happy flying everyone!Joe
  3. My old computer died (Ran XP) and I just bought my new one. I'm currently running Windows 7 Home. I get errors when I try to install Edit Voicepack saying I need to essentially "downgrade" to a different .NET Framework, but the computer won't let me. Anyone else have any suggestions or know of any other product similar to Edit Voicepack which will run on my PC? I'm already sick of not being able to hear the correct ATC callsigns. Thanks,Joe
