I have tried to put this in the ini file, this entry was not there, so I pasted it at the top. but when I try to save it, it comes up with "access Denied". I am the administrator on this machine, also just to make sure, what section do I enter this in the ini. The reason I asked here after I did a search like you said, was that when I bought the gauges and installed this did not happen. Shall have to boot in safe mode to do it. Anthony

I had to do a total wipe of Windows. I have reinstalled everything, and re-activated the 430 and 530 gauges. I have configured the A2A aircraft from there config program to enable the gauges. When I try to load the aircraft I get the following box pop up. MPI Gauge failed to load simconnect interface DLL: c:\programfiles(x86)\mindstar\flight simulator addons\ isimconnect.dll error code 14001 I am using the FSX steam version and everything was running fine before the format, no antivirus running. fsuipc is not installed Help please Anthony

Disregard the above post, I have just found the installer on a usb stick I had backed it up to..... Anthony

Because the installer was on the corrupted part, of the partition, forgot to back it up. Anthony

I have had a windows fail so i have sent you an email saying that I need instructions for installing again, after a format of computer. Just put a reminder here for you to email me as I can't be without the gauges after I'm up and running again :-) The minor problems I was getting with the gauges I think was due to the MS Windows in general, causing loads of problems with FSX and other programs, so doing a format Tuesday. I'm using the A2A 182 and 172 using their preset panel config App for their aircraft, not any panel config of mine. I am at EGTE Exeter UK, there are a few airports airports within about 40mile radius, but when I go to the nav map it then flicks to the 4th page after clicking r/h button it just shows Exeter full info of the airport. There is no list of other airports in the close area that can be scrolled though to pick one. I'm Obviously doing something wrong. As far as the locking of the 530, it runs fine for about 20mins or so then the display is not updated and all buttons do not function, it will only flip between the panel and the popup. Anthony

I must be doing something wrong here. I have tried to get to the nearest airport page, I followed the manual and it does not seems to show a list of airports, just one. In the manual it shows a list that you could scroll down through to pick one. Is this because I am using the fsx database, and not the addon one Occasionally the 530 locks up, with no control over it, with this as well would it be a bad install. Anthony

I just got them, running great. Is there a setting in the ini file to up the refresh rate a bit ? Also on my screen the popup shows a bit small for clarity, I realise that I can change the size by dragging etc. But what are the lines in the aircraft panel config to change the default size ? Ok thanks, that's answered that. Do the system specs seem reasonable to run them without too much fps drop. Anthony

Hi I wonder if someone could answer a couple of questions before I buy the 430/530. I have contacted Mindstar a couple of times but I don't like keep bothering them with short questions, so I thought I would ask here. My system is intel core duo 3.33mhz windows 8.1 ati 5850 GPU 1gb memory 8gb system memory Steam version of FSX ( which was updated on the 23rd April) ======================================================== Can flight plans be created within the units and then saved for later use then loaded in again. Will the autopilot then follow the plan providing the fsx autopilot is set correctly, or does the plan need to be done in the fsx flight planner. Do they come with a built in nav database or has this got to purchased to see the nav data on the map display. With the latest steam version update 23rd April), is there any know issues at the moment with the gauges not working like other company's Do the units come with Garmin manuals or do they have to be download from somewhere else. I know that the A2A aircraft have a config program to install them, but would fsx panel studio help to do other aircraft. That's all for now Thanks Anthony
