  1. I don't believe that there is a way to disable the LIVE log in. I've gotten used to it. It just takes a second to login and then you can get to the offline play.
  2. After you have selected to NOT automatically sign you in then you can sign on yourself with your Games for Windows Live ID. If you are NOT connected to the internet then you will get another pop-up box about not being able to sign on to LIVE. Just answer OK and you will be taken to the game offline. If you just have the free version and you have not purchased anything online like the add-on content then you can just hit ESC when it comes to the LIVE sign in and it will take you to the offline game.
  3. This could be a driver issue for me. My Nvidia drivers are out of date. I'm going to try the Nvidia 295.73 drivers when I get home tonight and see it that fixes my crashing issue.
  4. I wonder if this is what was causing my crashes upon starting MS Flight. If I started up the program without the joystick plugged in then it would come to that intro black box and then crash never lettting me into the game. But for some strange reason when I plug the joystick in it comes to the intro black screen and then starts up just fine. I wonder if Silverlight could be an issue.
  5. I get that pop up box too. I just click the sign in button. If my internet is disconnected then it will give another pop up box that tells me that it cannot connect to LIVE. I just click OK and it takes me to the game. If the internet IS connected then it takes you right to the game online.
  6. Thanks guys. I got it working now. I downloaded the Hawaiian adventure package and got it installed. Then I disconnected the internet. Then I just hit OK when it tells me that it can't connect to LIVE. It takes me to the game and everything is still there and accessible.
  7. Is this true? Someone at microsoft is telling me that I must always be online to access the add-on package content.is that right?
  8. I got it working! This makes absolutely NO sense to me at all but this is all I did to fix the problem:plugged the joystick into the USB port before double clicking the MS Flight icon to playDoes that make any sense at all? I tried it over and over again.Without the joystick plugged in: error (crash) upon startup every timeWITH the joystick plugged in: it works! How weird....
  9. Looks like I am having this conversation with myself. I take it that no one else has had this problem. Maybe it's an XP issue only. I am getting a crash error code 0xc0000005 when I try to start MS Flight. I can't play this game and even miscrosoft won't email me back. Oh well...
  10. Seems like a great place to come for help. :Peace: I guess I can contact microsoft and see what they say.
  11. I got the game to install but when I try and start it I get a black box on the screen then two crashes. One is about Microsoft Flight not being able to start and then the other is about Dr. Waton Postmortem Debugger. I cannot start this game at all. I am on XP and I downloaded the installer from the microsoft website. I need help to start this program. I also have an older version of Internet Explorer on the computer I am trying to install to. I might try updating to Internet Explorer 8 and see if that helps.
