And after 17. May there will be Alaska aerocaches. Maybe? Hopefully.

Here is link to download page (torrent is at the bottom). You can install DCS World and you'll get SU-25T free. To get P-51d, you must buy it. And both is in beta state. -
On final approach flaps should be full down.
From manual:
Landing Procedure
Perform the following steps when preparing to land:
- Slow down to 170 mph before lowering the landing gear.
- When lowering the landing gear, make sure the control handle is DOWN and locked. Check the landing gear indicator lights. Be sure the hydraulic pressure returns to 100 PSI. Be prepared for the aircraft to feel nose-heavy when the gear is down. Adjust the pitch trim to compensate.
- Maintain approximately 150 IAS in the traffic pattern.
- Lower the flaps when turning on final approach and the airspeed is below 165 IAS.
- Once lined up on final and with the flaps lowered, maintain approximately 112-120 IAS.
- When sure of a correct landing approach, close the throttle.
- Just before getting to the runway, break the glide with a controlled flare and approach so as to land within the first third of the runway, in a 3-point attitude.
Hold the aircraft in the 3-point attitude just above the runway until flying speed is lost and the plane sets down at approximately 90 mph.
The tail wheel is locked when the stick is neutral or aft, so steering is limited after touchdown. Keep the stick held back until enough speed is lost and you are ready to turn off the runway and taxi.
Never attempt to push the stick forward and unlock the tail wheel in a turn when taxiing. Release the tail wheel before starting the turn.
- Slow down to 170 mph before lowering the landing gear.

Explosions looks fantastic
Phantom, great shots.

Thank you. But it's far from highest settings. More middle. My old CPU & GPU won't let me ;)

Yes, hardly waiting for Nevada. It was beautiful even then in first DCS: A10 beta. Now, with new engine ... Well, for now another Mustang shot:

Still hoping, but less flying for now.

Bought same Joystick less then month ago because my old Cougar become too jerky. It works from start and I think it's a good stick for 50 bucks.
Hi
Not sure that this is the correct place to ask but I'm playing Flight using the mouse.
I ordered a Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X Flight Stick from Amazon.
When it arrived it didn't work on my computer.
I plugged it into 3 computers mine, running Windows 8, my wife's running Windows 7 and another computer running Windows 7 all 64 bit.
It was detected i.e. "A device detected." but wouldn't show any place in control panel or in any game on all of the computers (no interface to adjust etc).
I returned the it, now I'm looking for an option.
I don't want to spend a lot of money but I'm will to go $50 or so.
What would users recommend?
Mike

You must know that Flight through Steam isn't offered in all country's (This item is currently unavailable in your region). So you can't quite compare use of it with other Steam games which are available all around the world.

Agree with first part.

Indeed. If I want WWII combat sim I start IL2, COD or wait a bit for DCS: Mustang. Looking planes from behind while flying - not for me.
-
I know this has been said ad nauseum already, but:
How different can the P-51, Zero and P-40 be when flown from a chase camera view?
I'd be interested to know how many of these planes MS are selling...
Indeed. Comparison cockpit-less planes and Mule.
-
Of course, no cockpit. I've just saved some $ .
-
Nice finding! :Peace:

As I often thought that I saw all of Hawaii when flying around and doing jobs I'm always surprised, when aeorocache leads me to some beautiful, unknown region.
-
Would love that in Flight with VC of course
Of course. :Four Leaf Clover:

They are providing two aerocaches a day starting today. One old one, and one new one, to allow people that missed one to get them.
I know that. I've done first AEcache and waiting 50 minutes countdown to get another (Iao Valley). Which was broken but I get it with Kabronicus help. And when I've done it, there was third, Yokohama beach.
-
I found Iao Valley aerocache with help from your map. I'm at UTC +1. I had it about half an hour ago, now it's ... uau ... new again. Yokohama beach ...
.....
And this one is working.
-
Iao Valley is no more. Again previous aerocache.
-
Here it is, second of the day (one of the old ones). When I selected it and press Start Hunt, I get: "There is no aerocache being tracked.
-
Yesterday I received announcement that I have 80 Aerocaches. Today, when I've stared the game it shows only 79. And when I found today's Aerocache I've got again message, that I have 80 Aerocaches. But when I look at web page microsoftflight.com, there are 81 of them.
