  1. I do have FTX global installed. I reinstalled each aspect of my personally made scenery one at a time. When I reinstalled the object file that I made with Instant scenery in FSX, the trees became messed up again. I was able to install the ADE file, the CVX files, and the photo real. It is clearly the object file. I don't know why but it causing the problem in some way. However, it's only if I load the flight in the detail radius of the object file. If I load the flight at KACV, which is the airport I made, the trees load wrong. If I load a flight say at KSFO, the trees load fine even with the object file installed. I haven't yet tested this without FTX Global.
  2. Well I just tested your theory Jeroen and I have confirmed that you are correct about the weird trees issue. I had some airport scenery that I had made with ADE, SbuilderX, and Instant scenery and I have been getting the weird trees ever since I installed it. I never thought for a second that the scenery could be causing the problem. It's just in my addon folder and it worked fine in FSX. I tried removing it and now the trees are fine. I put it back in and they are screwed up again. I haven't yet narrowed down which aspect of the scenery is causing the problem but I will test each part one by one. Thanks for all your work in testing and discovering this, as the tree issue was driving me nuts.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give Grabber2k a try.
  4. Hello, I am using sweetfx 1.5 in p3d2 and it looks great! The problem is when I hit the V key, the screenshot I get does not have sweetfx applied. In other words I can see sweetfx in the sim but not in the screenshot. I have seen some version 2 screenshots with sweetfx and the difference is obvious. It's like the screenshot for me is happening pre-sweetfx. I could post the screenshots with and without sweetfx, but I don't see the point as the screenshots with and without it look exactly the same. Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue? Thanks for your time.
  5. I'm trying sweetfx with p3d v2. It made the screen very dark even in the day. It almost looks like night. I turned all the effects off and it's still dark. What am I doing wrong?
  6. Hello, I'm new to posting on AVSIM and I'm thinking of switching from FSX to P3D. Is there a complete list of all the aircraft included with P3D?
  7. I can still fly it at 24fps. Its is a beautiful aircraft inside and out and seems to function as it should. I believe the framerate issue has something to do with the gauges or the panel in general. The problem is strange in that it is somewhat intermitant. Sometimes it will drop down to 20 and then go back up to 30 for a second. It usually stays around 24-25 for me. All Carenado's other hd planes I have stay locked at 30fps. I probably should have waited to see what others thought before I purchased it. Live and learn I guess.
  8. Carenado has responded to me in my concerns over low framerate. The told me to lower my settings. This is insulting to me considering I can run their other aircraft at 30 fps. Its not the fsx settings, its the plane. I asked them for a refund and they will not give me one. I will not purchase from them again unless they do. It is unacceptable. I feel like I got ripped off.
  9. I have an i7 2600k overclocked to 4.5ghz with a gtx580 and it runs other hd carenado aircraft at 30fps. The B200 runs at about 24fps in VC. I disabled the WX radar as described but it made no difference. I emailed Carenado about this but they have not yet responded. I hope there is a fix for this as it definently makes me think twice about purchasing anymore Carenado aircraft.
  10. I just bought the B200 and also noticed a lower framrate than other Carenado aircraft. I probably won't fly it much because of this. I'm pretty disappointed.
