  1. If you look on the Flight Replicas website (Downloads page) (or the Facebook page), there are free textures (and a free panel.cfg) to upgrade the P3Dv4.5 B-24 Liberators PLUS the P3Dv4.5 DC-4/C-54/Carvairs to P3Dv5. Free, at no charge.
  2. Just so sad. A great pillar of our hobby, and will never be forgotten.
  3. It has been tested in P3D2.2, if that's what you mean? It should also conform to previous versions, as well. And yes, DH did like to keep it simple, with automixture and the like.
  4. The Manual for the Heron has now been added to the product page, and can be downloaded for free. This includes the printable checklists and reference, in case you'd like to have a look at those, too. This should also give a good idea of systems and functionality. Not a complex aircraft, as mentioned, and in fact was designed to be flown by a single pilot where regulations allowed, the only physical difference there being that the co-pilot yoke was removed and the pedals folded up.. http://www.flight-replicas.com/DH114_Home.htm
  5. Hi Alexander. The textures are clean (if that's what you are referring to), as almost every photo of the real Heron's shows them to have been kept relatively spotless when in service. They almost never chipped and streaked, and they created virtually no exhaust or oil stains, and so that's the way we went. There is actual dirt and staining on the model, but minimally, as appeared on (and in) the real Herons to the best of our photo interpretation. All panel lines and rivets are there, but to scale, and so may not show up well in the longer 'focal range' a screenshot needs to have for a larger aircraft. But every little vent and airscoop on the fuselage (that we could see) is there, for example. You may see these if you look more closely at the screenshots, or perhaps we can add some close-ups.... Of course, for those who prefer a more used or badly cared for look, that's easy to do! There is a paint kit available.
  6. There's another release thread here, if it's any help, where you can feel free to ask people who already have the Heron what they think: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?88583-FR-DH114-Heron-Now-Available
