  1. Have you checked your ailerons and rudder trims ? PhilG
  2. If you use a throttle pedestal check that your mixture levers are fully forward. PhilG
  3. I just remarked a strange behaviour of the PFD: When selecting NAV 1 on Bearing 1 and NAV 2 on Bearing 2 on the PFD you should normally get two arrows indicationg the directions of the selected VOR's. But when the NAV1 unit does not receive a valid signal, either because the beacon is too far or the frequency selected is not available where you are flying, the NAV2 arrow (the double-lined arrow) also disappears, even if the frequency is set to a valid nearby beacon. I checked on F1 Beech 200 and of course this flaw doesn't exist. Maybe some people could check if you meet the same problem. I have FSX and the Navigraph version installed. Phil
  4. Thanks for answering Raymar. I am really surprised about your picture of your MFD fuel page. Here is mine: As you can see the fuel quantity on the fuel synoptics is in Kilograms, although labeled as pounds, and in pounds on the engine page on the left side. Phil
  5. I remarked that a number of things are not working correctly on the MFD: 1) In the "Systems" pages, on the FUEL page the remaining fuel quantity is in Kilograms unit, although the label is "lb", but on the engine column on the left of the MFD it is in pounds. Modyfing the fuel unit on the "Aux" page does not change anything. 2) The ECS (environmental control systems) page seems to be completely static. The bleed valves do not open on the diagram when the bleed switches are on. 3) On the STATUS panel, the hydraulic pressure remains at zero with Nr 2 engine running and the hydraulic pump on. You need to have Nr 1 engine running to get hydraulic pressure. Nevertheless the flaps are working as much as you want. When you cut both engines the hydraulic pressure remains high, even when you move the flaps up and down. 4) On the engine side panel, the ignitions never turn on, even during the engine start. And even with the ignition switches "ON". A nice model, but with a lot of things to improve. It gives the impression that the Phenom 300 is sold unfinished. Phil
  6. Hi Jean-Pierre, I got a similar problem and was able to cure it. So maybe this will help you. Aircraft with non integrated GPS have a switch NAV-GPS which allows to send to the CDI either the signal from the GPS or from the VOR1. On the true G1000 this is normally done by clicking the button called CDI under the PFD. The CDI will then switch to NAV1, then NAV2, then GPS. However it seems that Carenado could not do this probably because they adopted the original FSX autopilot. As you can see when you start the aircraft, on the line of buttons below the PFD, there is one marked "OBS" between "CDI" and "PFD". When you type a flight plan on the MFD and push NAV on the autopilot, this button under the PFD will change from OBS to GPS, meaning that the GPS is steeriing the aircraft. The problem is that you cannot switch back to NAV. Even when the CDI is switched to NAV1, the GPS continues to interfere ! I solved the problem by assigning the original FSX NAV-GPS function to one of the buttons on my yoke (you may also assign it to one key of your keyboard) and pressing it to to disengage the GPS and ... it worked. The Phenom 300 is a very nice simulation and I like it. Sad that Carenado is lagging in the conception of aircraft systems. One would have liket this plane to be developed by Realair or PMDG. Good luck with your Phenom !
  7. Hi everybody, I am very pleased with Carenado's Kingair C90 but have a problem with landing and taxi lights. At first I thought they were not illuminating the ground, but I finally found that by raising my position in the plane I coud find a small area illuminated in front of the plane. In the real world this area would be about 3 to 4 meters long. It is almost impossible to move the aircraft by night in those conditions. It's like taxying with a pocket light ! Other add-ons (e.g. PMDG 737 NGX) have correctly illuminating landing and taxi lights. Is it possible to improve this situation ? Can anyone help ? Thanks.
