AP after go around
Thanks Avery. I think, this time was my joystick(Saitek) issue. After I recalibrate the neutral pos., all is back to normal, at least for now.

AP after go around
When climbing after go around, having N1 engaged & HDG armed (green lits), after 1000 AGL my AP(either one) never engage by one push. Needs repeatedly few times. Obviously not right. Any idea why, please?

cruising speed weired
Thanks, guys.

cruising speed weired
I was at FL350. Mach 0.78 is over 500 Knots. Would never realize, high alt. can change speed that much. Thanks, ddswh1pk0s.

cruising speed weired
My NGX followed FMC high alt. cruising speed at 0.78 Mach, but PFD speed tape stopped by 268 Knots(red dots over 270 Knots). PFD speed was 0.78 Mach, and tape at 268 Knots. My PFD speed tape always shows red dots over 340 Knots. I can't figure out what is wrong with that. I think, it is the matter of setup or preprogramming. Any idea why, please ?

VNAV descesnt speed problem
Sorry, I missed FMC throttle setup. After I reset throttle manual override to NEVER, my VNAV works properly. Thanks again, scandinavian13.

VNAV descesnt speed problem
I usually keep my throttle lever low when descend, but never really care to be all way back. That may be the issue. Let me try again. Thanks, scandinavian13.

VNAV descesnt speed problem
I have no option to keep right descent speed. That's why I'm using SPD INTV. I set target speed at 200knt in FMC descent page below 10000ft., and VNAV still spool up engines and speed up way over 250knt. Is there any more requirments to force VNAV control waypoints speed constrains ?

VNAV descesnt speed problem
My NGX, regardless target descent speed (set at 240knt) in FMC descent page, when below 10000ft, at VNAV descent accelerate up to 270knt, then just before DECCEL point slow down, what cause passing next waypoint at way too high speed. Using speed interv. button. My VNAV simply ignore waypoint speed constrains. Any idea, why ? Thanks.

TOGA after touchdown
My NGX TOGA works only before touchdown and only with A/T armed. After touchdown(before engines reverse) when getting airborne again, TOGA is dead. FCOM says, can be activated, when airborne again with A/T ON or OFF. Tried with both FDs ON or OFF, A/T ON or OFF. Using FSX with no extra adds-on. Windows 7, 64bit. Need a help, please.

Waypoints speed restriction
Yes, there is a clear guide in tutorial #1, page: FINAL APPROACH. Somehow I'd missed it before. Have my appreciation again. By the way, there is no Tutorial #2 in my package. Any idea, where can I find that?

Waypoints speed restriction
Yes, I realized that and always try to be ahead of the aircraft, entering lower speed of waypoints set prior to FF(full landing configuration) one. The problem is, VNAV, regardless, still try to keep 180-200 knots up to FF, which is obviously wrongdoing. I'm simply forced to use speed intervention, when perform RNAV approach. Just want to know, it's normal for this PMDG plane, or there is a bug in my 777 FMC. Thanks.

Waypoints speed restriction
Appreciate that, scandinavian13.

Waypoints speed restriction
Thanks for good advise. I set A/T manual override at" IN HOLD MODE ONLY". No idea, how to prevent it by not adjusting my hardware. Need more info., please.
-
Waypoints speed restriction
Yes, I modified them way prior to T/D. I like to be more in control using intervention knobs, manual modification, controls, etc., but if you let VNAV continue approach, the plane will hit(despite speed restr.) FF point with speed about 200 knots. Why FMC doesn't follow my commands(restrictions) entered into it ? Hard to believe, the real plane will do that.

Waypoints speed restriction
It may be glitch in my 777 FMC. Here is, how it's computing descent profile : KDFW- RNAV-RWY17C(last segment): BOSSI 240/6000A-3NM-PENNY 240/5000A-6NM-ZING 240/3000A-2NM-JIFFY 170/2300A-5NM-RW17C170/612. Obviously, no way to reduce speed by 70 knots within 2 nm when descending. After I modified(lowered) speed of all these waypoints, on next attempt, the plane still flew too fast passing waypoints with higher than restricted(modified) speed(drag required prompt). My 737ngx FMC computing this approach right.

Waypoints speed restriction
Yes, I think 737 FMC is a different design as for midsize mostly short flight jet. Thanks.
-
Waypoints speed restriction
It was short flight below 10000ft (I missed that info. in my initial question, sorry). Plane entered into descent segment with 250 knots, which was way to fast, despite modified lower speed in FMC. Thanks for good response, anyway.

Waypoints speed restriction
Of course, I can, but this is VNAV job.
-
Waypoints speed restriction
It's not better, then brake hard just past T/D ? Which airlines would like that ?
-
Waypoints speed restriction
My 777 does not follow waypoint speed restriction (to slow down before descent). Have to manually reduce speed using speed intervention knob. Either, after selecting lower descent speed on FMC Desc. page, the plane supposed to reach that speed, before T/D waypoint ( as 737ngx does), but it doesn't. I don't think it is normal for this plane, isn't that ?

LDG ALT Indicator
Yes, I did. I think, it is a bug.

LDG ALT Indicator
My 737ngx ldg alt indicator rapidly jumps to wrong altitude just before touch down. I assume, it goes back to departure airport RWY elevation. Any way to fix it, please?
