MCP-II does not respond using PMDG 737NGX with Linda
I went through the FSUIPC.ini file, and deleted the referenece to the Saitek joystick, and deleted the [Luafiles] and [MacroFiles] sections as suggested in the manual, it's working now. Not sure what the problem was. Thanks for your help. Joe

MCP-II does not respond using PMDG 737NGX with Linda
When I ran linda.exe manually, it asked if it was "ok to run". I cleared the checkbox that said to check each time, now it runs with FSX. I still don't get the MCP initialized though. I can see in the Linda console window that it recognizes the MCP on COM4 I do not run the VRi software. this is the console output ====================================== Trying to use SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 VRI port 1 "com4" opened Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.61472.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.61259.0) Initialising SimConnect data requests now FSUIPC Menu entry added C:\Users\jw\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\PMDG 900 Logan.FLT C:\Users\jw\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\IFR Logan Intl to Green State.PLN D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-900NGX WL\B737-900WL.AIR C:\Users\jw\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\IFR Logan Intl to Green State.PLN VRI MCP2B ("MCP2 Boeing") detected on port com4

MCP-II does not respond using PMDG 737NGX with Linda
No, the MCP never indicates PMDG. In the Linda GUI, it does show PMDG 737NGX. Linda does not start with FSX, even with the Start with FSX checkbox checked. Clicking the "Reload Lua Engine" gives me a status line on the FS display, but nothing changes

MCP-II does not respond using PMDG 737NGX with Linda
I installed the registered version of FSUIPC, Linda and FSX with SP2. If I used the VRi software, the MCP works. If I use Linda, the panel lights blink when FSX starts, but I never get past the "Select your Aircraft on FLY Now" on the MCP LCD. No buttons or knobs work. Everything is green on the Linda GUI. This is my console output - appreciate any suggestions. Error msg + joysticks not recognised
I had the same problem, it was caused by an old version of TripleHead2Go software. Download the latest from Matrox.

[old] LINDA v1.13 released!
I've installed Linda with the registered FSUIPC 4.8 and FSX on a Win 7 64 bit machine. I was originally getting the "invalid pointer error" but cleared that up with an update to TripleHead2Go software. I'm using the PMDG 737, and I have a VRi MCP-II (Boeing) panel. This works fine with the VRi software. When I start FSX and Linda, it detects the MCP and all the lights flash. The MCP says "Select your plane and fly", but does not control FSX. The Linda console window shows it detecting it. Anything I doing wrong here?
