  1. If one can prove the purchase how can they deny that though?
  2. I've been a simmer for a few years now. However, in a recent move I managed to lose the card with my Serials on it. I called Microsoft, even provided them with pictures of the disks, codes on the disks and codes from the manual, but they we're unwilling to help me retrieve a new serial. Has anyone ever retrieved a new serial? I know there are work arounds, but I'd rather have a real license and be able to update to Acceleration, considering that I have purchased the Deluxe for a reason. Thanks for the help! 3. Thanks guys for all the help. Kiwiflyer, that looks like a quality product but as I said I mostly fly east coast. They didn't seem to have anything I fly in. But thanks anyways!
  4. Ah okay sorry misunderstanding, I didn't realize it was free. I will look into it more to tonight! Thanks for the help!
  5. TileProxy I heard is a lot of work and you need lots of space to store all of the data. Is that true? Do they sell individual areas or continents or can you buy the whole world? I fly mainly east coast of the US and Northern Europe.
  6. Wanted to know if it's actually possible to literally have to ground textures in FS9 be the same as you would see when viewing satellite view on Google Maps or looking at Google Earth?
  7. Looks good! Thanks for the reply, these are the helpful things that I was looking for
  8. Wanted ask what some of you VFR pilots have for add ons, or things you have done to make you VFR flying experience more enjoyable and realistic.
  9. Terrain Extended Radius I believe. I may be wrong but I figured I'll at least get this post a little attention as for experienced cfg editors this should be a simple answer.
  10. The system restore meant a new reinstall of FS9 came with that right?
  11. Check if the folders for the scenery are still in the FS9 directory
  12. Make sure you can still at least see the names in the scenery folder and if not check to see if the folders themselves are still there.
  13. More autogen, but still that same brown stuff after about a 1 mile radius. I know my system can handle having autogen cover to the horizon. It does in FSX, I don't see why it wouldn't here. Anyways, the photorealistic isn't very "photo real" either. Just brown muck.
  14. It's been a while since I started a topic on this forum so let me summarize what has happened recently. After buying a graphics card because of autogen no spawning in the distance and an overall bad look on FS9 (Yes, I did all the CFG tweaks and added GEX REX GEPro all that) and did not see any improvements. So, I switched to FSX. I like the looks and all and frames are decent (10-40FPS), I miss FS9 and the fact that I am not worried about FPS and if theyre there, because I know they are. FSX seemed a little too sluggish for me. After a fresh install of FS9 I did notice better frames from when I just added the card, but still, autogen doesnt spawn until within about a mile. I have tried the tweaks to CFG and all but no cure. I am running all max and my 7750 is only at 50% and PC at 55%. One last time I will ask is there anything I can do to get autogen to spawn in about a 30 mile radius at least like FSX seems to do? All the YouTube videos of FS9 have beautiful terrain and buildings and autogen off in the horizon while I have dull, brown, blurry crap... Here you can see, nothing crisp or clear and almost NO autogen. Just brown. Once again. Even the payware airport textures seem blurred...
  15. That's a very good system for FS9. I would reccomend a separate hard drive for FS9 but it's not required of course. If you plan on looking into FSX, however I would maybe reach at least for an i5. Check out my setup. I have a few big addons and can run FS9 @60FPS and FSX @35FPS, pretty much consistently.
