  1. Hi No matter what I do I get this message when I open my PTA. It is up to date. Preset D:\7. PTA\default.ini loaded Prepar3D 4.5.12 build 30293 detected as target verson Shaders cache directory found at C:\Users\Jason\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Shaders\ Prepar3D main configuration file found at C:\Users\Jason\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.cfg ERROR: shader file D:\1. P3Dv4\ShadersHLSL\General.fx is not original Prepar3D shader and can't be used ERROR: shader file D:\1. P3Dv4\ShadersHLSL\GPUTerrain.fx is not original Prepar3D shader and can't be used ERROR: shader file D:\1. P3Dv4\ShadersHLSL\PostProcess\HDR.hlsl is not original Prepar3D shader and can't be used I tried to delete the ShadersHLSL folder from the P3D4 root folder and then ran the P3d4 client to do a repair. Idid it with restarting between these steps. I tried deleting the files for the PTA and reextract them into a folder entitled PTA on the same drive as PTA which is separate from the Windows drive. What do I do? Jason
  2. I guess that's a good place to start. I will have to find my way into the folder where those tutorials are located. Thanks
  3. Hello I have P3D4. I have recently been learning about flight planning. I have not been going by any charts. Being somewhat new to flight planning I have been playing around with the SIDS, flight plans and STARS in the FMC until I had a flight plan that worked and made sense. Everything about my flight goes well until I am about to touchdown. When I have about 50 - 70 feet to go on descent to the runway it pulls up and starts to climb. I have tried setting the altitude to 0 so that it will keep descending all the way to the runway. I fly with the PMDG 737. However, I do not feel like it has anything to do with the aircraft but feel like it is something I am doing wrong in my flight plan. I am looking for ideas on what I might be doing wrong. Any help would be great Thanks Jason

Thank you pedrotrindade for the help with the link as I didn't see anything before that had where you could send in a ticket. Also thanks to w6kd for the tip on using the FMC so I don't have to request activations.

Hello I am new here and not sure where to write this and this Seems like just a good a place as any. If wrong please feel free to correct me. I have the PMDG 737 6789. Because I am somewhat new to Windows 10 and P3D of any version I have installed and uninstalled and reformatted my computer to try to get things tweaked which leads to it getting somewhat messed up. Thats why there is several installs and uninstalls. Now I am getting a message that I am out of activations. What do I do? Thanks Jason
  6. There is a good PDX payware being made by Flightbeam. It is in progress and therefore not talked about too much and hard to find information on but flightbeam is working on PDX and looking at their quality on previous airports I'm sure it will turn out absolutely awesome. The following link takes you to a blog page which has a link to their Facebook page that you can use to follow any updates on the progress of their PDX airport. http://flightbeam.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2479
