Hello my friends! A while ago I bought my self a brand new computersystem because my old one is unusable. When I tried to install the PMDG 737 it worked pretty well. As I´m a student for airlinepilot now a Days, at a Swedish fligtshcool in Västerås OSM Aviation I also need the install on my laptop so I can use the PMDG 737 for practise and checklist training and for the MCC course. The problem is that I can´t use th 737 from PMDG because every time I try to activate the 737 at the "freeflight in FSX I have to eneter my userlicens for the software then I get a message that the activation of the fullfillment is denied by the activation policy... ! Well I can understand the there might be som restrictions ragarding how many time I can install th same software. But this is my computer and my leagaly bougth software that was delivered to me as a boxed Product from Aerosoft. I do have the receipt if You wnat the copy. How can I make it work on y new systems again??? I shouldn´t have to buy the softwaere again!!? Lizzard

Aha! That´s the information I really needed. I was absolutely sure that all the changes was supposed to be done in the txt. Thank You!

Yes! I´m in the cfg.txt. And yes I saved it.

Thanks for for aspects regarding how to make Changes. My question was rather if anyone know what happened to the lines I added in the cfg-file. Are they supposed to stay in the cfg to be readable or are they overwritten by some reason? My CPU is an i7 920 2.67GHz and I uppgraded GPU to Asus Geeforce GTX960 4GB and expanded DDR to 12GB. So thats one step to improve the ability for FSX, the other step was an attempt to tweak through the cfg-file. As my CPU is a quad core I wanted to separate the loads from OS and FSX. But.... As I cant find my added lines in the cfg-file I still wonder.... Did I do it right?? Or do I have to make it an other way???

Well maybe I had made changes within the sims "settings" to adapt the resoution to match my screen. but after that I made the changes in the config. Was I supposed to do all changes via the config file?

Hello! I´m not verry experienced when it comes to work with files. I have tried to improve how things come out in FSX by adding lines in the fsx.cfg-file as described in different tweaking guides, for example HIGHMEMFIX=1, Affinitymask...etc. After adding those lines it seams to work really good. But when I returned to read my fsx.cfg-file ( just for qurious) I notice that the lines I added in the file are all disapeared...?? I do know that I saved my changings. I know I changed the"TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024" to 2048, but now it´s back on 1024. HIGHMEMFIX=1 is gone and all other changings too. But I do notice graphic improvements. Did I do something wrong? jeppe

Hello Paul! This is my settings in the PMDG option menu I can´t se that there should be any problems in here. An other issue, maybe not relevant to actual problem is thath when entering any flight with PMDG MD-11 there´s a phase of "initialisation" of 18-20 secconds when I have a flickering image that finaly settle to a stable image after 10 seconds of initialisation. Maybe my it´s all a graphiccard problem(??) (Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB DDR2) It performs well in most situations as a general, but ofcourse it could be close to a low limit. Jeppe

Robin! Yes this is FSX with SP2 but without the acceleration expansionpack. No other addons but PMDG and CaptainSim. My system is not brand new; Windows 7home premium servicepack 1 64bit. Intel® Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.4Ghz. RAM 3,00GB The reason TAS´s missing might be because the screenshot is when on ground. at flight I have indication for TAS below GS. What problems do You notice below the altimetertape? Jeppe

Sheepfu! I checked the settings in Windows as You said, and they are at 100%. So that will not cause my missing indication. Regarding the recommendation from You, Chec_Airman I guess You mean the settings from within FSX addons/PMDG menubar that pops up when hitting alt tab. I really don´t se where I can change any display options. Can You please guide me a little bit more?? Jeppe

hello again! Well this is the way it apears for me. In the redmarked position there should be figure that equals my present heading. But by som reason it´s missing. Hopefully my attempt to include the picture from photobucket was succsessful jeppe

Hello fellows! By some strange reason there´s no heading indication at the top of the navigationdisplay. Is it possible that I´ve removed it my self by accident?? or is there a problem with my setup? Best reagrds jeppe
