  3. I watched some youtube videos of this plane before ever flying it on my own. Had it for little over a month now...make a mistake, research, try again. Repeat. Still having fun. As for my "tip", tutorial videos are a godsend...
  4. I recall an episode from Mythbusters on Discovery Channel. They tested in a NASA simulator to see if they could land without having any previous experience, crash landed. Then tried with coaching over the radio, and were successful in landing.
  5. I have the good fortune of being close to a US border crossing. For some shipping I have used a service like CBI in Niagara Falls NY. Saves alot of duties. Yes, I tell customs I went for a package....so far I haven't been taxed yet. Thought this might be of some assistance to my fellow Canadians!
  6. Let me preface this reply with I am a total novice ... er ... NOVICE. I just got the 737NGX about two weeks ago, very impressed. Lots of reading to do. I wonder if a freeware option is worth considering, the price is right. Perhaps the Project Tupelov 154B?? http://www.protu-154.net/index_e.html Seems to have a involved procedure for starting from cold and dark at least, and the russian callouts are different...
