It's a zotac amp 2gig... Three monitors with surround setup. Looks pretty cool, but the two sided are stretched a bit much: fish bowl effect.

Thank you all: I will look into each suggestion. I followed the FSX bible and he wrote to not use Buffer pools and he also wrote to disable AA in inspector, so I followed his suggestions. I have the fsx set to trilinear. What bothers me is that my fps ranges between 22-30 but I'm still seeing some stuttering and the biggest annoyance is that runway lights (from the air) are visible when I start the default flight, however as soon as I turn the aircraft, they vanish(turn off). I use Rex 4, orbx global and vector: nothing more. I'm starting to wonder if I've bottle necked my system by going with the Nvidia 760??? I spent a considerable amount of my savings on this setup and in hindsight- should have gotten the 770 or 780. Can anyone comment as to whether or not I should purchase the 770 or 780, and will doing so equate to better FPS??? And am I looking for the 2 gig, 3 gig or 4 gig versions)??? Thanks a lot everyone

Someone asked me about my Ram: it's Trident (4 sticks) each stick: ddr3 -2400C10D-8GTX (4gx2 XMP ready) I think I will delete my cfg and do the suggested minimum tweaks. I will also look into XMP, as of this moment, I have no idea what it is or how to set it up in the bios Thx guys!!

Thank you all for the help. I have a H80i Corsair liquid CPU cooler. Do you feel it is good enough, or do I need a new one?? My measurement for failure: I tried to overclock to 4.5 and what I found was I started getting screen tearing and Large black shapes started appearing on the screen: leading to the Blue screen of death approximately 15 minutes into my flight. "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer" I am running fsx on an Nvidia card GTX 760 with Surround. I'm trying to OC because I'm not happy with the default clock speed. I continue to see choppiness (even when performing a 10 degree bank) :objects rendering (even in rural areas). With that said, It seems quite smooth during straight and level flight. The only addons I use are : rex4, orbx global and vector, genesis for mesh. The honest truth is that there is a ton of info. On the net, and a good amount is conflicting, so with contradictory information, I have become confused. I did use the ******* tweak, so I'm wondering if perhaps I should manually delete my .cfg file and regenerate a fresh one, with minimal manual tweaks?? Thank- you all J-e-s-u-s tweak....... I did watch froogle's videos and he mentioned that he only enters two .cfg tweaks (highmem and buffer pool )

Thank-you. Am I correct that the only values I play with are the VCore and the CPU Frequency and I'm to leave the other values alone??? I read that disabling Hyper Threading will reduce the temperature by 5 degrees...???

I've spent a considerable amount of time exploring the net, trying to understand how to overclock my i7; I'm confused and have been unsuccessful thus far.
