Day two or three or four, losing track. FSX is still stable as can be. People, just follow the steps. Very basic and neat stuff. Firehawk knows what he is talking about. In the earlier posts, I only posted my specs in case someone similar had issues.

One extra question firehawk, if I may. I have FSX on a dedicated SSD. Does that entail any sort of "different" or "extra" settings in any way? Thanks in advance for your response.

I know I'm late chiming in late here, but I followed firehawk44's advice. And guess what? I have not had one problem since in regards to ctd on 8.1. Much thanks firehawk. The machine is an Acer Predator Intel Core i7-4770 Processor,12GB Memory,2TB Hard Drive,with the Nvidia GTX760 Graphics. I'm not a techie, so I did the Fry's purchase. FSX was giving me fits until I found this thread. Thanks again. (I don't post much at all, but I'm a repainter and have many paints up)

Isn't that Wonder Woman's invisible plane? :wink: Speaking of paints, I paint quite a few and have some on here under "Ray Reyes." But Carenados give me the most difficulty. Does anyone know of any Carenado Phenom 100 repaints yet? I checked on here earlier today and found none, then googled and found none also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks John for the fix, was just the matter of the alpha channel. I know the FS Repaint Aussie guy/team do alot of paints, but this is a very simple fix.
