  1. But am I still able to do this, even though the recording process would take awhile? There isn't a set time limit on how long a recording can be, is there?
  2. Holy crap guys, thanks a ton. Never expected this awesome of support! Definitely going to buy this, can't wait to use it on my DC-9! On the Tristar video, it still sounded a little word for word though, Now Set Altimeters... So you're saying I could record my own voice lines that would make it sound more like Now set altimeters... , so it sounds like it flows off the tongue a little better?
  3. Hey everyone. I'm new to Multicrew and was considering buying it. I like the looks of it, I'm interested in planes like the Coolsky DC-9 that FS2Crew isn't likely to do in the near future. I've used FS2Crew a ton, but like I said, I want voice control for planes that don't have the FS2Crew treatment. One thing that makes me hesitant about MCE is how despite using voicepacks, it still seems kind of unnatural and robotic. Is there a way I could have my friend record individual voice lines for events "Gear down, three green, etc", instead of the word-by-word way that MCE seems to do it? Thanks, -Mac
  4. Hey everybody! I'm a huge MD-80 fan and used to fly the Maddog almost exclusively back in FSX. I'd even updated the cockpit textures to look more graphically up to date. However, after switching to P3D V2.5, I have been unable to fly my favorite aircraft, while the plane loads alright, none of the click spots that worked in FSX work in P3D V2.5. This is really disappointing for me, as like I said, the MD-80 is my favorite plane and was always a joy to fly. Anybody have any ideas on getting it to work? Thanks, -Mac Apologies for the double post, mods, feel free to delete this!
  5. I just got the TSS MD80 FSX sounds for the Maddog. For some reason though, the sounds are not working when I install them from the TSS sound folder into the Leo Maddog sound folder. I'm just hearing default Leo Maddog sounds. Any help?
  6. Hey. I've had the 737 800/900 for awhile and it's by far one of the best planes in my hanger. My dad is also a pilot for Southwest, so we of course got the Southwest repaint. Upon approach, we were confused to not hear the 2,500, 1,000, 500, etc.. callouts. He says that all the 737s operated by Southwest have these callouts. So why does American or Delta have these callouts and Southwest doesn't? -Mac
  7. I'd just get their Bush Hawk XP if you want a smaller floatplane. The default beaver is the only default plane I'll use, and I don't see any reasonto switch to the Aerosoft Beaver. To each his own I guess.
  8. Looking to get this addon, I'm into the whole VOR navigation thing. Was reading some older posts and saw some folks were having FPS issues with the addon and some other small bugs. Owners of the DC9, how is the FPS? I can run the NGX and get 30+ at almost all airports, only dipping down to 28 or so in bad weather on the ramp at more complex airports. I'd trust the comments people made about FPS in the DC9, however, those comments are more than a year old and hardware has changed since then. I myself have built my own computer, including parts such as, i7 4770k GTX 780 Corsair DDR3 9-10-9-27 1886 RAM All built around a Z87 Sabretooth. I understand this is a broad question, however I am interested in how this plane runs for you all as it very well could be my next purchase, the FPS being the deciding factor. -Mac
