Removing trees
I too am having trouble with trees in the wrong place! I use an add-on (freeware from Avsim) of my home airfield, Compton Abbas in Dorset, UK to practice circuits in FSX between real life lessons. FSX puts a tree at each end of the runway right on the approach path, too close to the airfield to avoid it unless you want to land 2/3 of the way down the runway. I have FSX De Luxe on Windows 7. My computer expertise is very limited. If it is possible to remove unwanted trees can anyone offer a step-by-step guide on how to do it please?

Altimeter anomalies
Sorry for delay replying. I've tried the FSX "built-in" Cessna 172 & it occurs with that but much less pronounced than with my add-on "Flying Club" Piper Warrior. That is the worst one. I bought that because the Warrior is what I'm learning on in real life and I want to use the FSX for practice at home! I'm using Windows 7.

Altimeter anomalies
I keep getting a situation in FSX where the aircraft is descending (Iknow because the houses are getting bigger and the attitude indicator shows it is ) but the altimeter is climbing at a rate beyond the aircraft's capability. I haven't experienced this in real life flying I'm happy to say! Any ideas on (a) why this happens and (b) what can I do about it?

Add on scenery FSX De Luxe.
Frustrated Pete. I'm a ppl student (real life) and I've just installed MS FSX for practice. My training airfoeld, EGHA Compton Abbas, UK is on the system but looks nothing like the actual airfield. I've downloaded the freeware version of EGHA from Avsim library and it's there in FSX. However, when I follow the instructions andclick on scenery library, then add area, ok but when I then double click on Addon Scenery, instead of the folder egha.compton abbas becoming visible I just get scenery and texture. I can't get past that. My computer skill level is not very high! Any suggestions?
