There is a US source for Elma E37 dual concentric encoders at SimWareKits.com . Chuck is in Wisconsin and gets them bulk for his G530 Sim hardware. It may not be on his website but he sells them at a considerable discount to the Elma direct price if you ask. They are super high quality and have nice rubberized soft touch knobs. Leo Bodnar them in Europe but the price is much higher and they have to be shipped from overseas.

Thanks for your help but I chose the hammer... my windows 10 install is a couple years old and was in need of some maintenance. I am happy to report that reinstalling windows10 and the nVidia drivers did the trick. The GTN is running great now. So is XP11. I appreciate your patience with me.

I found it and generated a report using Forward Context 4.6 BUT I do not see the spoiler in the editor and don't want to post it in the clear. The reply header shows only Bold,Italic, Underline, Link file, Quote, Emoticons, bullet list, numbered list and Preview. No Spoiler? I am thinking about just using a clean install of Windows 10 since it has been a while and I had lots of old "junk". My original plan was to tightly restrict this computer to sim use and only basic needed files but over time in my work wit Sim Innovations I installed Visual Studio and many Resdistributable versions. Also Open Broadcast, ect, ect. I think starting form scratch may benefit me in may ways as I am rebuilding my sim. Do you think this may solve my problem with OpenGL and RXP GTN?

Okay the computer is up and running again. Where do I set OpenGL Profile? In GLViewer or elsewhere?

One further clue is the GLViewer Report on my setup. Does this help anybody? Note it says Memory: 4095 MB but my video card properties says: 8192 Mb GL Viewer Report

Thanks. I did a clean install of the drivers for my video card with the latest drivers.but still a blank screen on the RPX 750. Would it help to reinstall your software for the plugin? I am not lazy and will commit time as needed to try to fix this but I am afraid I am stuck right now. I am also curious why the trainer works fine but the RPX plugin doesn't? X-Plane works fine too.

A friend of mine has a new GPS kit available to build a very accurate G530 that could easily work with RXP G530. It is a 1;1 scale with very high quality encoders and the bezel is 3D printed by you or a printing service. If a RXP user might be interested in building one I can probably get you a quicker delivery( there is a waiting list) because he'd like to have a version for RXP. The freeware software used on X-Plane is ArdSimX which controls the arduino inputs. It will also work using Air Manager 3.0's new Arduino hardware support(for both X-Plane, and FSX/P3D) http://www.simwarekits.com/

I noticed I could turn on debug & trainer logging but the log file didn't change in Documents/rpxGTN.xpl.txt except for the date/time stamp. Am I looking at the right file? I just purchased the GTN750 and think I have carefully followed the directions carefully BUT I get only a black screen as if there is no power to the RXP panel. If I start the Garmin GTN 750 trainer with the Launcher the trainer seems to work fine so it is probably installed correctly. When I select GTN1>GTN750 from the plugin menu it creates a GTN on the XP11 window that never seems to come to life. The cursor changes to the appropriate icon as I pass over areas of the GTN panel. When I select Settings... from the plugin menu for GTN_750_1 it displays but will not respond to mouse inputs( cannot check or uncheck items, expend groups, or even scroll the list). I tried reducing the graphics settings on XP11 and the settings can be set now BUT the GTN screen is still BLACK. I am using XP 11.11 Final version and RXP 750 version 2.4.12.0 I have an i7-4770 @ 3.50 Ghz CPU 24 Gig RAM nVidia GTX1070 8Gig VRAM I thought I was a fairly advanced XP user but maybe I am not after all...help please.

Any chance the pop-up window might become a pop-out window like the one in the internal G530 in XP11. I am able to drag into into my iPad which is set up as an external touch screen monitor using the iPad app Duet Display. It works great but would be even better with the touch controlled GTN750. my G530 and how I did it: X-Plane 11 $40 iPad GPS
