CTD on exit
yes I seem to recall it was not PMDG, which is why I didn't wish to flag it up as such, but it's something I could never get to the bottom of, seems to be one of those illusive things, but worse for me for the 777 than NGX. lise morgan

Is the 777 really "better" than the NGX?
I think it's inevitable that comparison are drawn, even though the 777 model is fantastic in it's own right. I guess the capability and potential of PMDG was already out of the bag at the time of the NGX release, so the initial wow factor was perhaps always going to be brought down a peg or two. I think the obvious feature the NGX holds over the 777 is the HUD, it's an obvious feature that sets the 737 apart from the 777. The other in my view is the smaller condensed environment of the 737 that gives it a more complex appearance whereas the 777 appearances are to a certain extent deceiving, with alot more under the hud (no pun intended) than meets the eye. Speaking of HUD, there is a HUD option to be available shortly for the 777 I thing, real world I mean. Lise Morgan

CTD on exit
Hi, Just wondering is anyone getting the CTD on exiting from the flight? I have been getting it consistently with 777, though not a show stopper, more annoying since it leaves a doubt about whether any new settings made during the flight were saved or not. Only get it from time to time on NGX, haven't identified a trend as to why. Lise Morgan

pmdg cockpit animations
Hello Your 777 is a masteriece, I have no performance issues with it, no complaints so far, but I do have a general question. It concerns cockpit animations. While I don't get excited about coffee cup holders and cabins and moving documents and animations of that nature I was generally curious if it was for performance reasons that the sun visers are not animated? I am full sure readers will suggest these are akin to coffee cup holders, but then so is oxygen hissing from a bottle and yet this is modelled. I would have imagined the visers to be something used often enough to justify their inclusion, but don't get me wrong, for such a sophisticated aircraft to perform so smoothly on my system, it is mere curiosity and in no way a negative remark. thanks Lise Morgan
