  1. Kyle and Chris, Many thanks again to you both. You were both right -- Kyle that the yoke was stowed (a page in the manual I obviously skipped over) and Chris that the elevators and ailerons were moving nonetheless.
  2. Thanks to you both -- I'll check both angles as soon as I get back home!
  3. The 777 fails to respond to my CH FlightSim Yoke – no movement at all. As instructed in the 777 Introduction, I’m using FSUIPC to assign buttons and calibrate my CH FlightSim Yoke and CH Pro Pedals, but have assigned all axes through FSX (SE). Just to make sure, I deleted FSUIPC.ini and allowed it to regenerate, to purge any problems from having previously assigned axes in FSUIPC. Doing this had no impact that I could see. The yoke works fine in the PMDG 737NGX, but NOT in the PMDG 777. And on the 777, it’s ONLY the yoke that does not respond - the buttons on the yoke work fine. Windows recognizes the yoke – if I go into FSUIPC from the 777 cockpit, all yoke movements are detected. But once I come back to the cockpit, the yoke just sits there. An ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! Setup Details: Windows 7 64bit FSX:SE FSUIPC registered version PMDG 777 download PMDG 737NGX download CH FlightSim Yoke CH Pro Pedals
  4. Some of my software (in particular FSIPanel) needs FSUIPC, so I eventually decided to follow the “all FSUIPC” approach with my CH FlightSim Yoke and CH Pro Pedals – un-checking the “Enable Controller” box in FS Controls and instead relying on FSUIPC for all axis assignments, buttons, etc. This arrangement works fine for all my aircraft, including the PMDG 737NGX, but NOT for the PMDG 777. And on the 777, it’s ONLY the yoke that does not respond - specifically the aerilons and elevators. The rudder pedals work, and so do the button assignments on the yoke itself. Windows recognizes the yoke – if I go into FSUIPC from the 777 cockpit, all yoke movements are detected. But once I come back to the cockpit, the yoke just sits there. I’ve tried everything I can think of – sending the info from FSUIPC “direct to Flight Simulator” and through FSUIPC for calibration first. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! 5. That's very helpful, Jason -- but what about FSX itself? Should we uninstall that and replace it with FSX:SE first? Last? (Or not at all?) P.S. Thanks as well for the tip on signatures.
  6. Perhaps someone could clarify: As someone who bought, but has not yet installed the FSX Steam Edition -- because I didn't want to mess up my 737NGX installation -- what sequence of actions should I now perform to take advantage of SP 1d, once it's finally released? I appreciate the advice to "uninstall and then do a clean install," but a clean install of what? After uninstalling what? Many thanks, and sorry if this sounds ridiculously naive!
  7. Perhaps someone could tell me -- and others who may be in the same position: having purchased, but not yet installed FSX Steam Edition -- because I did not want to overwrite or otherwise mess up my 737NGX installation -- what sequence of actions should I undertake to take advantage of the looming release of SP 1d? I appreciate the advice to do a clean install, but a clean install of what? Thanks in advance!
