ok would it be possible to answer another question? I have Active Sky next and 2012, however where do I enter the winds/temp in, use to be in the INIT of FMC on the 737-800, cant find it on the 777 though edit: nvm, its the next page on the takeoff ref page, weird they put it there. stil tryng to figure out this FSPassengers problem, why would there be a tachometer. Almost like its a panel error?

Hey everyone! Just purchased the PMDG 777 installed it, love it! Problem is, when I load of FSPassengers the mini-display for some reason glitches, theres like some sort of tachometer behind it with the arm swinging back and forth but it glitches within the blue of the fspassengers display. what is causing this? Doesn't happen with my 737-800, I have EZDoK installed and scenery mods for the most part. Any help is great, for some reason because of that the turbulence doesn't work as well for the passengers, theres 62kts winds coming at me tons of turbulence but nothing registering on the psfassengers display.. thanks!

hey everyone, Just downloaded EZdok, love it for my PMDG 737 but have one issue. had to change my page up and page dn to shift plus up arrow and shift plus down arrow because im on bootcamp on a mid 2012 i7 core macbook pro. Anywho, when I press shift up arrow and shift down arrow to move the camera it flickers like snags on the screen and glitches then snaps back to place. Not sure if there is a fix for this?

So i always read about the fsx.cfg and when i get to the tutorial theres a million things to do and not to do, so I got confused and walked away. Is there a basic "change this to this" within the .cfg? also where is the .cfg located so I can look at it? and no, i have not seen the dx10 section but am very interested, I looked it up and see that I should be running preview directx10 already? ive never had that checked. Also is this the item thats for purchase on the flightsim store for 36AUD, or is it the free patch file on avsim library? If i purchase this should I turn the preview DX 10 on in FSX or off?

awesome!! just purchased it loving it!, how do people have crazy smooth FPS, is it just my rig or is there something in the settings im missing. Im playing this on a Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 15" with an i7 3720 2.6ghz and geforce Nvidia Geforce GT 650M. Anywho, last question How do you get the taskbar I also see in other videos, the taskbar has like a arrival checklist, also has buttons of different panels you can pull up on the go, whats that called for the pmdg?

Hey everyone, This is an absolutely noob question but ive tried to search for it everywhere even the manual with no luck. Maybe Im sure using the wrong search keywords, but anywho: How do you change views within the cockpit like the 3D way, and zoom into the FMC the way its done in this video, how the pilot looks like hes moving within the cockpit (first person), how? ok i did a fresh install and only installed the PMDG 737...still, no lights. I did a LONG panel state load, short, i dont see ready to taxi, i did 'default' as well...i really cannot figure it out! it was working fine like 2 weeks ago..

which detail slider, on the fsx graphics settings, everything is set to ultra. and I don't have the 'ready to taxi' panel state, anyone happen to have a copy of it i can download?

ok so, I ended up reinstalling windows for other reasons and took fsx with it, I re installed fsx and JUST pmdg 737 ngx files, thats it no texture. I ran it at my usual airport and gate, i set it to NGX LONG as panel state and basically turned all thelights on same as picture and nothing, just the strobes were on winds and top/bottom. what could it be??

well ive already started it on default and it always worked no problem...now im not sure why it doesnt?

same =/...not sure if its because of all of the texture programs ive purchased, not sure if its the order in which I installed the programs I have...I tried to repair the PMDG install, no luck. All i can do is a fresh clean install and re-do the installation process, maybe this time ill install the PMDG files first and then all the textural stuff?

(not open during fsx) Active Sky Next (Open During Fsx) When I go to the airport and to the gate and view 'spot', I turn the lights on and theres nothing but strobe lights flashing, logo and headlights are off even tho I can see the bulbs are on on the wings. What is this from. I installed from Ultimate scenery, ultimate traffic, active sky 2012, active sky next, pmdg 737, in that order, not sure why its doing this but ive installed many liveries and theyre all doing the same. I tried to repair the application too but nothing. What could it be?

Hey Everyone!! Ok so, im basically running these three programs: 1. Ultimate Terrain X - USA & Europe 2. Active Sky 2012 3. Active Sky Next 4. PMDG 737-800 NGX My question is this...How can I run all these 3 at once, really Ultimate Terrain X I dont believe requres anything open, but I leave the setup tools open anyways (correct me if I dont need to). Then I tried to JUST run Active Sky Next from KLAX to KSEA, I did a flight plan on simroutes.com flying a PMDG 737-800 NGX. I downloaded the FSX and PMDG flight plans and with Next I entered it into the flight plan window. But nowhere can i find the CRUISE/WIND numbers like I would in Active Sky 2012 to enter into my FMC, where is this?? Lastly, Do I need to run Active Sky 2012 as well? I used to simply go to Flight Plan in 2012, import the plan and it would download the textures for a few minutes, with next I dont see this happen, so do I have to run the flight plan in 2012, and also next, with both open THEN open FSX and try and fly? Im just so confused on what to do while having both plans, do I take the CRZ/WND from 2012 too, or Next (again dont know where to find it), and how do I pull up that window I see in all the youtube videos that show the radar with buttons on the side? Please if someone can get back to me, I wanna get flying!! Thanks!!

ok stupid question but ive never been able to figure out how to switch fuel pumps, where in the overhead panel is it located or is it down on the thrust?

So simple question, can I fly from KLAX to PHNL with the 737-800NGX on a full tank. I ask because I tried too (im still new to flying) with active sky running, my speeds started to die doing a 4x simulation rate, half way through i notice the center fuel tank is going down but have 8620 in both left and right tanks each. so what am I doing wrong?

hello everyone! So I'm a bit new to the FMC and mediocre at FSX, learned most of the cld/drk operations yesterday, and departed KLAX 25R last night headed to KLAS 25L. I placed the correct waypoints to KLAS from KLAX including leaving the airport through proper airways and landing the aircraft at the proper runway using the waypoints on approach. I simply did this by opening my FMC and entering my Origin and Dest as KLAX and KLAS, I then clicked next page to get the get the VIA route page. Here I entered every single waypoint as follow and they were all DIRECT on the FMC. ADORE-SHAEF-PEVEE-HOLTZ-OSHNN-SLI(115 degrees)-SEBBY-DAG CLARR-SKEBR-KEPEC-IPUMY-NIPZO-SUNST-KIMME-CHIPZ-POKRR-PRINO with landing to waypoints LARRE-SHAND-RELIN-25L I then activate and execute, I then enter the INIT to place all the info as necessary (by click the white tabs to auto set on there) and at 5 degrees flaps. 9 reserve and 80 cost. I placed the runway altitude into my comm box to 2069', with a runway length of 10526', I then set the radio to 111.75 for ILS, i believe thats right? I then set on the AP, and take off for FL260 with 250 speed, once off runway I turn on the LNAV and VNAV (auto throttle and flight directors both on) and CMD A a Once I get to DAG on my route, the FMC tells me that the plane is set to go to 303/FL260, which it is at that point. Once I pass DAG I set the altitude to 3000 to start to lower, but it does not. Then when I get to about KEPEC, it says my flight level should be at 21000 at a speed of around 260. Yet the plane is going at 26,000 still and 303. It does not budge until it gets to around KIMME, where it starts to dip, but by then I am too close to the airport and i get the message DES PATH UNACHIEVABLE. What a I doing wrong??? I have enjoyed this place learning from simple youtube videos and learned how to start it up take off and the FMC, but apparently I cant get it down to ILS approach at 3000 altitude. not sure why!

hey everyone, So i get the MSG on my FMC and I cant figure out why. Im flying from KLAX>KLAS, still a noob but learned how to run the NGX recently, i put my origin and dest on my mfc, then placed all my waypoints from SimRoutes.com on KLAS runway 25R, I have the takeoff waypoints all the way through OSHNN and into DAG, about 9 points in total, Direct on MFC. I then have the ending points from DAG to KLAS, with an approach to runway 25L, I have the exact way points that make up the route in my RTE on FMC. I normally get to FL280 that i've set just fine. But once I pass the halfway point and into DAG, nothing happens. I will get even 30-40NM from the airport and im still sailing at about FL220. I then overshoot the runway, I even set my ALT to 3000ft to try and get it to lower while in a descent point. No luck, I will follow the route and keep maintaining a high altitude while it very slowly starts to lower the closer I get to KLAS. What am I doing wrong to get the FMC to follow the RTE I laid out with its preset altitude and speed settings to the right. I need to get to 3000 to set the VORLCK and APP settings, but I cant obviously. thanks for any help!
