i am using windows 8 and sweetfx worked very well in prepar3d 2.2, but strangely it does not work in 2.3

I don´t know if you are having the same problem, but i can´t run Prepar3D 2.3 when enable sweetfx. The version i´m using is 1.5.1 i put all the files in P3D folder but when i click on P3D.exe the sim does not open. How can i fix this?

Thanks Jim, it worked! Removed the UlSettings.xml file, set my screen resolution and voila.

Thanks for your reply vesalius. I followed all steps you posted but got the same problem. The most i got was shrink the startup window, but still cannot choose airplane and made changes in the time of day menu. Here is a pic:

It looks like he changed the Windows font size. I am using Windows 8 and also tried to change fonts size but without luck.

Hi, I'm having some problems in the startup screen in Prepar3D 2.3, some menus and check boxes are hidden. For instance, i can´t choose an aircraft in startup screen, because the box "change" is hidden by the image of the aircraft. I also can´t access the "Advanced Weather" menu and change time and date. In order to solve the problem i tried to change Windows DPI settings but the problem continues. Could you please help to fix this?
