I finally got to load a Plan-G flight plan onto my X-Plane GPS. Of course you have to have the .fms file exported into the Output/FMS plans folder as others have said, but it would not show in the GPS until I did this final step: I went into the game, pressed the Flightplan (FPL) button on the GPS , clear any flight plan info already loaded, then turn the small page knob to the right and a list of all your flightplans in your Output/FMS plans folder will be displayed for selection. highlight the right one and press ENT and it should be loaded.

Have you tried raising your Gamma setting? I have mine at 2.8 instead of 2.2.... it brightens up the day.
