As long as FSX stays working with the new drivers, it be fine. Cant remember with which, but one of the drivers gave me a black screen after switching. Sounds and all where there. just screen that was black. And yeah, maybe FSX is old, but it is still commonly used combined with FS 9, since many people invested huge amounts of money on Aircraft/Scenery etc which are not working in P3D so wont make the step to the new flightsim.
