  1. Hi, Bob, and apologies for the delay in replying. I tried increasing the code limiter to 100% but no benefit. I have reverted to the default 40%. The scroll wheel is working on HDG but, to my surprise, it is not working on CRS/ HSI adjustment. Does this help? Thanks John
  2. Thanks for your interest. Scroll wheel works on web pages etc. I reduced code limiter to 10% but no help and also re-installed XML tools, but no improvement. I haven't tried the add-ons yet
  3. I am fine up to this point There is no response at this point. There is an inner and outer FMS knob, each colouring green when the cursor hovers over, but with the highlighted field flashing, rotating either knob with the scroll wheel on the mouse has no effect.
  4. onebob, Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, despite trying for some time, I cannot upload a screen shot as you did - the codes do not seem to work. I am stuck with the inital flight plan box which in text looks like this: Flight Plan -----/---- DTK DIS ---------- this last line highlighted I cannot get to the Active Flight Plan or Waypoint information panels. Can you explain where the area below the Active Flight Plan is.
  5. Thanks. I have Simbrief, Navigraph and Active Sky, so I will give them a try. So, it's not possible to enter a flight plan directly into the Vertx DA-62 G1000, then?
  6. I am trying to enter a flight plan on the G1000 Vertx DA62 and it's driving me nuts! I click on FPL and click on the inner FMS knob to get a highlighted line but I cannot get to the next page of Waypoint Information where I can rotate the inner FMS knob to enter characters. Rotating the inner or outer FMS wheels has no effect, and clicking the inner knob just deselects the highlighted line. Also the airport at which I am located is not automatically entered into the flight plan screen as I believe it should. What am I missing? Thanks
  7. I have entered a simple 2 airport flight plan using the G1000 on the Vertx DA62. I want to enter a SID and STAR but when I click on the procedure button there is only an option to enter, load and activate an approach. There is no option to enter departures. Any ideas. Thanks
  8. I have done a clean install of P3D v 4.5.12.I have downloaded and installed GTN Complete v 2.1 along with the latest version of PC Trainer. When I try to load a scenario in P3D, I get an error message that I am using an unsupported version of P3D.When I run the F1 update tool, the versions of P3D have the most recent version in the list as v 3.4.9.I am therefore unable to to update GTN Complete to be compatible with P3D v 4.5.12The DHC3 will load in P3D but although the GTN 750 surround is installed in the cockpit, it does not power up but remains a blank black screen
  9. I have looked on my orders page on Flight 1 and confirmed that I bought Flight 1 GTN Complete edition in Oct 9th 2017. I believe I should be eligible for the upgrade to GTN Complete v 2.1 free of charge. I have sent a ticket to Flight 1 to request and confirm this and to receive a link to the download. Thanks for your help. I will keep you up to date with developments
  10. I tried that but the most recent version of P3D listed in supported simulator versions was 3.4.9?
  11. I have just completed a clean install of P3D v 4.5.12. My reading suggested that I needed to update my F1 GTN Complete to avoid CTDs. To this end, I downloaded GTN PC Trainer 6.50.1. It has appeared to install correctly but now in planes like the Milviz DHC 3, the the box/surround for the 750 is showing in the cockpit but it is blacked out and showing no screen whereas it worked correctly previously. It does not power up.The GTN 750/650 are configured in MVAMS. In the A2A Beechcraft V tail, the GTN 750 does not show as one of the possible GPS devices of choice. Has anyone any advice? Thanks
  12. When installing the Falcon, there is the option to install on P3D v3 or v4, each having a button on which to click to select one or the other. it didn't install on v4 but did on v3. I have since discovered that I was operating v3 even though I had thought I had updated to v4. It seems that in my case the update to v4, although appearing to run normally, for some reason was not installing. So the Falcon was installing correctly in my v3. Hope that makes sense
  13. This is just to tag a problem I had with installing the Falcon to P3D. My version is P3D v4, but trying to install to this radio button led to no preview of the plane when chosen after starting up P3D. After some dialogue Technical support suggested using the P3D v3 option, and strangely, the plane installed normally and seems to be operating correctly. I have double checked the version of P3D I am using and it is definitely the most up to date version of P3Dv4. I have no explanation but offer up my experience if others are experiencing similar problems.
  14. Thanks for the responses. I had been used to using some payware planes with fuel and payload managers. I will check out P3D payload manager facilities and third party add ons for a little more realism. Anyone any experience of Payload Manager X? Sorry, Milviz. I have hunted around for the above mentioned thread and cannot now find it. Perhaps most relevantly, I thought I would re-calibrate my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals to see if that would help with the snaking along the runway, and the violent descent and bank to the right after take off. I noticed with horror that use of rudder and brake pedals also caused a deflection of elevator and aileron. Examination of the control axes in P3D revealed entries for elevator and aileron in the axes on both the rudder and throttle quadrants as well as the joystick. I have no idea where they came from but they have been deleted from all but the joystick, restoring a great amount of stability. It’s late now but maybe tomorrow I will have a little more success with controlling this beautiful aircraft.
