    MVAMS screen for C310R

Thanks for the responses. I had been used to using some payware planes with fuel and payload managers. I will check out P3D payload manager facilities and third party add ons for a little more realism. Anyone any experience of Payload Manager X? Sorry, Milviz. I have hunted around for the above mentioned thread and cannot now find it. Perhaps most relevantly, I thought I would re-calibrate my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals to see if that would help with the snaking along the runway, and the violent descent and bank to the right after take off. I noticed with horror that use of rudder and brake pedals also caused a deflection of elevator and aileron. Examination of the control axes in P3D revealed entries for elevator and aileron in the axes on both the rudder and throttle quadrants as well as the joystick. I have no idea where they came from but they have been deleted from all but the joystick, restoring a great amount of stability. It’s late now but maybe tomorrow I will have a little more success with controlling this beautiful aircraft.

    MVAMS screen for C310R

Thank you for the reply. I did read it in the manual.
  3. I have been reading a thread on erratic behaviour of the plane on takeoff which is my current experience. it was thought to be a poorly placed C of G and talked of varying the amount and position of payloads, but can find no way of doing this. I thought that it would be an option through VMAMS but can find only options to change GPS type and starting state. Should there be more options on VMAMS? Thanks

    PMDG 747v3 CTD P3D v4.2

Just to say that I suddenly started to experience CTDs during initialisation after 2-3 weeks of normal function of the 747 QOTS. I unchecked the message text boxes as advised on this thread, and the 747 loaded normally. After each boot of P3D v4, the box is checked once more, but now leaving this as is, the 747 still loads normally! Bizarre.... The plane also loaded normally after first loading the F22
  5. I would like to upload to newly installed P3D v4 a DVD of OrbX New Zealand South Island purchased 9/3/13 from FlightStore order no WEB164263. The box states compatible with both FSX and P3D. However when running the setup exe file as administrator, I get the error message - Radio buttons>On Next Line 13: Argument 2 must be of type string. Stack traceback 1: (Radio Buttons> On Next) Line :13 in main chunk. Can anyone help me complete the installation. Thanks

    Invalid Hardware ID

I recently installed P3D v4 in addition to FSX,and updated Pilot2ATC to work with P3D. All was working well. Today I installed 2x 8Gb RAM to replace the previous 2 x 4 GB RAM because of out of memory problems with P3D. When I try to load P2ATC, I now get a message - 'Invalid licence (invalid hardware ID). I am using the software on the same PC. Can you help? Thanks
  7. Please ignore the last post. I was looking around the radio stack in P2A, clicked from Com 1 to Com 2 and back again, and suddenly Chatter started coming through!
  8. This problem now solved: Using FSX DVD version on Windows 10 I too have installed X_ATC_Chatter sound files in P2A but can hear no chatter. In config sounds, controller folders button clicked. Root folder is C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Sounds. Pause between file playback checked at a figure of 20. Play chatter checked. Folder heirarchy is C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Europe\Controllers\ with folders App, Clr, Controllers, CTR, Dep, Dep_Gnd, Dep_Twr, Dep_Uni, Dest_Gnd, Dest_Twr and Dest_Uni. Frequencies are active and the Comms radio up volume button has been pressed. P2A connected. Frequencies active. Power button P2A green. Entering text in call sign box

Thanks, Dave. I hadn't twigged about press enter. Now working for Flybe also.

Entering text in call sign box

I was trying to enter a call sign for a GA plane above. I have now loaded a Dash 8 Q400 Flybe plane this time. Having ticked the airline button under Aicraft Call Sign in config, If I enter BEE (or BAW or AAA), I get no response and no automatic entry of of a call sign. Incidentally, I find text entry will happen if I leave the mouse cursor within the box. Sorry to bother you, but this later problem is going to impact on me using ATC.

Entering text in call sign box

Hi, Dave, and thanks for the reply. I have studied my attempt at text entry more closely, and this what I have found. When I first click in the call sign box, the mouse cursor blinks six times and then becomes steady. When the cursor is blinking, text entry is not possible, but as soon as it becomes steady, keyboard entry works normally. I was having problems repeatedly trying to enter text as soon as clicking in the box (the six 'blinks' take quite a long time), and thus repeatedly failing. I don't know if this is related to my set up or to the software. I don't have this problem in any other applications. It would be good if it were fixable at your end
  12. I am having difficulty in entering text into the call sign box in config. Carefully placing the mouse cursor in the box, which is not easy to see, by the way, there is no consistency in the keyboard entering the text. I try several times with no response and then the letters or numbers suddenly start to appear. I go in and out of config trying several times until I am successful. Hope that makes sense. Briiliant software. For the first time, choice of sids and stars is presented accessibly and logically.

    Out of Memory problems

Out of curiosity I ran the same flight under the same conditions with the same add-ons but no P2A. If anything there was less VAS available without P2A! Looks like I will be purchasing the software.

    Out of Memory problems

Thanks for the replies. I see the attraction of P3D but starting with add ons all over again.... Time and money!

    Out of Memory problems

So, is it P2A that is VAS hungry?
