So is there any gift that anyone could give you that you wouldn't be thrilled with? It always amazes me that people are amazed because they don't see the world like them or think like them or value things the same way. Personally I just finished downloading and I am happy that it was free and I'm sure I will like it.

I think @Chock did a good review of this addon and the final verdict was not necessary unless you've got the quid to burn. It's more of the same really and would be wiser to wait for better offerings but to each his own at the same time.

What aspect of live weather? All the cloud layers, temperatures, winds aloft and pressure or just cloud depiction?

I can not believe HOW HUGE that airport is! There are some sunken ground issues with remote parking areas but overall I think it's great. Haven't checked the night lighting yet but did a bunch of taxiing around and flying over with the Virus then a flight from there to KLAX with the A320 after I purchased the other day.

I am literally on the fence to purchase MAINLY BECAUSE the doors open! BUT I also like the idea to have a variable pitch 1xx Cessna except I have more than enough glass cockpits and the sounds are horrid to me so most likely I will restrain until I can't takes no more and give in.

Fudge those people Chock! Remember, the average IQ is 100 and misery loves company. Just keep doing you, and the ones with dignity and respect will be there for you and argue properly with you. I see them as people in my rearview mirror. YES, it is annoying to have a tailgater, but they disappear when you tear off the rear view mirror, turn up the music and slow down while you enjoy the scenery in front of you! 😉

Dang Nabbit, I was expecting not to have to purchase this. It seemed portedish (New word) and the audio didn't seem to be so great from some streams I saw. I will value your conclusion and go from there.

Microsoft actually did this all over the place and they even admit to it in an interview. THAT is ridiculous to me. Just make what you're making and if someone makes something better and I want it then I will spend the extra to get it. But to purposely not model things so others could is obvious their goal was to just back the dump truck up to the bank. I understand it's to make money but when you are that transparent of the ultimate goal it actually stings a bit but thankfully keeps things in perspective.

So how did I do guessing that you were going to love it? Like me waiting for the fixes and reporting the bad stuff and in the meantime enjoying the heck out of what you can for now right? 😉

You missed the whole point of my response is reporting and if people aren't reporting then it becomes a non-issue whether you care about it or not or what level you think something is is IRRELEVANT. The point was just to report and not complain if something is an issue not to argue that you don't think is an issue. And yes, to a LOT of people opening the doors is a BIG ISSUE and GUESS WHAT, EVERYONE thought it wouldn't be something to report because we've ALWAYS had aircraft that had opening doors so it was taken for granted that it would be present and it is not.

Unfortunately it was only SOME because too many people wanted to take a back seat and say DON'T WORRY, it'll be fixed in 10 years this is just the start. YEAH OK, when you give a bad taste with a first impression it'll be hard to keep a following unless they fix all the major items, INCLUDING the doors not opening!

Can you please report this to https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/ since the more people that make noise, the more likely it will get addressed. I agree it's crazy and I submitted as well.

You tried launching the game from the Start menu and clicking on the Flight Simulator icon?

When you hit pause unfortunately it enters a wacky hibernation state where the visual of the plane stops but everything else keeps going. So at the moment it's definitely a buggered up and I recommend not using as you've found out! 🙂 There is ANOTHER pause that you can assign in the controller settings that is more of what people are looking for and of course there is always the Escape key to bring up the menu to walk away for a bit.

I was definitely not looking forward to seeing Flipper again at altitude!

I was in the Alpha since the beginning and even though there were issues that may or may not still exist, it always blew my mind wondering what people would think when they finally got to play it!
