  1. I received a reply for my ticket stating it has been fixed.
  2. I purchased the 747 QOTSII for P3D, my order number is 416563. I tried to use the "Contact Us" link on your website to talk to you about it but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received a reply. While reading the EULA I found in the legal jargon which is the part that will hold up in court that the software is exclusively for FSX even though I purchased the P3D version. Therefore, every person who has purchased the P3D version of the 747 QOTSII is violating the EULA by installing the software into P3D. This is what I found and copied and pasted here: "b) This software is for use only with the retail version of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. You may not use this software on any platform other than Microsoft Flight Simulator X." It's obvious that you copied and edited the 777-200LR/F EULA for the FSX version because the heading has been changed but not the legal portion of the document. I also found this: "p) You may not use any part, file or artwork included as part of the PMDG 777-200LR/F in a product created for use with this or any other product without the specific, written permission of PMDG Simulations, LLC. This includes using the documentation, manuals, art files, liveries, paint kits or any other media included as part of this product." I want to honor our EULA agreement but in order for me to do that you need to make it right. In accordance with the last line of this and all your other EULA's, I'm asking for written authorization to use my 747 QOTSII in the platform that I purchased it for, P3D. I'll accept a reply to this forum thread or you can email me. I suggest that you fix this error and add it into your next update. Thank you for your time and attention regarding this matter. 3. I've had this same problem. The fix is to paint beyond the top of the fuselage depicted in the paintkit. All you need is a few pixels width added in.
  4. You're missing the alpha channel in your repaint. Using DXTBmp you can easily import it from another file that has it. Load a DDS file from a plane that has the lighting working in it then export the alpha to the folder where your paint is saved to make it easy to find. It will save it as a BMP. Then open you paint in DXTBmp and import the alpha to your texture and save it making sure that the alpha and paint are oriented the same first. This will fix the Vertical stabilizer lighting problem; I'm not sure how to fix the window issue but you'll need to start by blanking out the same windows in the alpha that you blanked out in the paint. It's possible that adding then editing the windows in the alpha fixes all the issues.
  5. I suppose you could convert the DDS files to BMP's and use the color replacement tool of whatever you're painting with to switch the colors then make the new DDS files and put it back into the sim but I wouldn't expect clean lines. I think you would have fair results at best. If you decide to try it, copy the plane you want to replace the colors on then make your changes and install it as a new plane. That way if it doesn't work out you haven't lost anything. Ideally the best way to do it is to make a new paint. There are tons of repainting instructions out there. A few years ago when I was a puppy painter the best one I found that worked for me was some YouTube videos from Mr Turbine777. He has a 22 video series that covers most everything you need to know and how to do it. Here's a link to the first one in the series: https://youtu.be/ztyJlKDbdwA I've also gotten a lot of help and ideas by searching the topics in this forum. Unfortunately, I don't have the Flysimware Lear 35A so I'm unable to assist you repainting it.
  6. Hi Jon, I had the same problem and also my PMDG MD11 would make FSX crash when I loaded it. I tried to repair and re-install them and it didn't work. The fix for me was to uninstall the PMDG planes then delete the left over PMDG folders because the uninstall doesn't remove everything. Then, start FSX and shut it down after it's loaded and restart your PC. Next run a registry cleaner (I use the C Cleaner free version). Go into your ...\\users\ AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX folder and rename your fsx.cfg and dll.xml files. Start FSX and it will make new ones. After this you should be able to install the PMDG planes and they'll work. This process is the same as uninstalling FSX and re-installing it. The beauty of it is you don't have to install all your add-ons again. You will have to load all your planes and give the permissions and trusted pop ups a click but it's far less time than the installation process. My dll looked ok so I think my problem was a corrupt .cfg file. I just did this today and I got all of my planes back but it looks like I might have to re-install some add on airports again but some of them are there. There might be an easier way, but this worked for me. I'm not sure what OS you're using. Mine was W7. Best of luck, I hope this information is helpful to you. Marc
  7. I constantly get the transparent blue "Low fuel warning" flashing across my screen every few minutes for the entire duration of my flight. I load my fuel using the PMDG Load Manager and I know my fuel level is good. I can have full tanks taxiing to the runway and it still pops up.. Does anyone know the fix to stop these pop ups?
