  1. Can someone walk me through the process of creating autogen for the ortho? I've tried to find a tutorial, but I haven't been able to find one (either through sheer blindness or I'm completely oblivious). I've gotten as far as retrieving the OSM data, but I'm not sure where to continue from there.
  2. I get an error when SceneProc runs: "More batch variables provided than expected, only 1 will be used." Is this anything to worry about? Does it affect what autogen gets placed?
  3. So, it got a bit further with the OSM downloading this time, however it still got stuck downloading the OSM data (it got through 11 files). The tile I'm trying to download is +37-123. If this can help in anyway, the Command Prompt says: Attempting to download OSM data from 37, -122.25 to 37.25, -122.0 OSM server MAP rejected our query, new tentative in 2 sec... OSM server MAP rejected our query, new tentative in 4 sec... OSM server MAP rejected our query, new tentative in 8 sec... OSM server MAP rejected our query, new tentative in 16 sec... 4. I currently have the distribution released on June 25th. I deleted the old folder before downloading the new one. I'll try downloading a tile again and let you know how it goes.
  5. I left the program to download Ortho over night and when I woke up this morning, not much had happened. It downloaded two OSM files and then was stuck trying to contact the OSM server "after 256 seconds." I've been encountering this issue a lot recently, oddly enough.
  6. Unlike ORBX, this tool only downloads the images and creates the requested masks and converts them to a .bgl format for sim use. ORBX spend hundreds of dollars to aquire the satellite photos and then from there, they do color correction, cloud removal, and other stuff to produce the flawless scenery you get with their products. Ortho4XP doesn't do any of the color correction, cloud removal, etc. The night masks this modified version produces is imperfect and it often guesses where light spots will be (in the original X-Plane version, it uses overlays to place roads, which provides the night lights). As a result of O4XP only downloading images directly from the source (such as Bing or Google), you will see miscolouration in tiles and such (which seems to be what you're experiencing, based on what Google Maps is showing - Bing's Oahu photos do not have this issue). Edit: Added link to Google Maps location. https://www.google.com/maps/place/O‘ahu/@21.4922711,-157.9479509,15135m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x7c006632db726b03:0xd9587d69906fcbc3!8m2!3d21.4389123!4d-158.0000565
  7. Yes, just add them to end of your .cfg (at least, that's what it seems like what kjjj did)
  8. euroau changed their profile photo
  9. That seems to be due to a difference in satellite imagery. I get that on my tiles as well. Edit: The satellite photos are sometimes taken at different times, resulting in the color difference. You'll see this a lot in tiles in many different areas.
  10. Do you guys plan on pulling something like BF3 where even on "Low", the textures look stunning? Also, am much excited for more news on this!
