Disagree with the above, what setting did you have in X Plane with regard to the number of objects showing, if it was none then that would explain your problem

you can move it in WED. I found that when I created a couple of New Zealand airports they were not in the right place by miles. So I extended the runway to 50 miles and then by going in and out of WED and X-P i was able to position it in the right place. It was just trial and error but it worked.

Airliners have hydro mechanical detents for centring (with regard to trim position. EG the pitch trim moves the detent fore and aft, so the control column moves fore and aft with it, into the new centred position). I agree with Jetmek as an ex jetmec myself and have similar mods. (i will try the sponge thing tho)
